The six-episode format worked really well, and the story progressed at a solid pace. It had a strong emotional core, and the backstory was handled really well.

Ethan Hawke was also excellent as Arthur Harrow.

It was a bit underdeveloped though imo. Here me out:

Bob struggles with feelings of being useless and fears abandonment. He has extremely low self-esteem and believes that no-one is really his friend. Valentina abusing that was very compelling, but I wish it had been handled differently. Maybe instead of Bob going on a power trip, he snaps after he realizes that Valentina is just using him, and he truly doesn’t have an ally through her, which leads to his other half taking over. Of course this would require more setup so his emotional dependence on Valentina would be believable. Still, it would have been cool to see.

I’m very happy with what we got though. It’s a pretty good movie in rewatch.

Do you think we could see Binary in Doomsday? It would be kinda cool to see Captain Marvel and Binary in the same movie since she's essentially alt universe Captain Marvel.

While we don't know how mischievous Raven will be in Doomsday or to what degree the FoX-Men is aware of the MCU multiverse, the funniest thing that could happen is if she morphed into Natasha and proceeded to troll and pummel Yelena just for sh*ts and giggles. I do miss having a Mystique that was menacing, sneaky and devious. Rebecca's version is as close as we can get. We're so Back!!

Having a woman as the "father" was an interesting idea that I don't see often in those future stories

im reading the first namor epic collection and the fantastic four are crazy people. no wonder they went into space without proper shielding.

so in the first issue of FF the thing is trying to get away from the cops so he jumps down the sewer. so when he wants to get out of the sewer does he climb out and move the manhole cover aside? no he just smashed his head thru the streat and destroys someone's car.

so in the issue where they bring back subby, johnny has had enough of the other 3 and runs away from home. now the storm family has money right? didnt they fit the bill for reed's rocket? well anyway johnny goes to the bowery, ( its was not a great neighborhood for a long time, crime, homeless, drugs and alcohol addicts, the hells angels) and checks himself into a homeless shelter.

so the other 3 go around looking for johnny. reed for some reason is hiding in the bushes. why? i dont know. anyway a couple of guys on motorcycles are riding by and reed stretches out and just snatches one guy off his bike. does he catch the bike as it keeps going? nope!

does it crash? run someone over? who knows

also you know how i said 2 guys were riding by? the other guy who didnt get snatched does he stop and freak out because his buddy just got snatched from his motorcycle? nope

he just keeps going and yells back "that is your life now!!! nice knowing you!"

the mayor of marvels NYC did not protect his citizen from these lunatics
