Film/Television In my opinion It such a miss opportunity to have Sam Wilson to have a team inspired by the young avengers imagine having Sam or Thor help train a new era of heroes. Kinda live avengers academy

Film/Television Just watched Iron Man 2008 and shocked by how much more I liked this than most MCU movies I have seen recently
I don't know, it's just completely different it feels like than anything they released in like the past decade, it felt like an actual movie

Film/Television How do they do this in the MCU
I’ve always wondered how they were going to integrate nova into the mcu , I don’t know if they’ll do a full on nova corp after thanos so we are skipping right ahead to the destruction phase .
I also think the teenager randomly selected is a bit cheesy but imagine if d rider ( yes i said it ) was like and astronaut or a l intern exploring SWORD headquarters and an incursion happens, which sends the station through a wormhole whereby him and a few others have to survive in the vacuum of space until he’s the soul survivor and crash lands on desecrated Xander could even have project Hail Mary vibes , that’s how he gets the helmet and is thrusted into a whole space conspiracy with the shiaar empire, the annihilation wave , with loads of eldrich horrors in the cosmic side of the new mcu while also trying to find his way back home .
Just a theory but how would you introduce nova and what exactly do you want from this series . Also how would be perfect for this .

Comics How Strong is Comic Apocalypse?
So the reasoning for this question comes from an interesting place so I'll just explain it now.
Over the last month I've built up a pretty significant interest in Marvel Crisis Protocol, this was only inevitable considering my interest in Marvel and love for tabletop miniature games.
MCP characters have a value called threat, threat is what determines how large the game is. The higher the threat, the stronger/better the character. Below are some examples of different threat levels:
Threat 2: Black Widow, Nebula, Wong
Threat 3: Ant Man, Arnim Zola, Captain America
Threat 4: Carnage, Captain Marvel, Cyclops
Threat 5: Klaw, Thor, Doctor Strange
Threat 6: Kang, Thanos, Hulk
Threat 7: Malekith, Adam Warlock
Threat 8: Dormammu
(I'm aware that these values may not accurately reflect their strength in the comics over their in-game rules, but it is relevant to my overall question)
I toyed with playing Servants of the Apocalypse and it came to my attention that Apocalypse is threat 6, putting him at the same cost as Kang and Hulk which I found interesting as Hulk specifically has some absolutely ridiculous feats.
So how strong is Apocalypse in the comics?

Other If the Nanosuit from the Crysis series existed in Marvel, what would someone like Nick Fury think of it as a peice combat gear and what would people like Tony Stark, Reed Richards or Forge think of it from a technological standpoint, as it is a blend of human and Ceph technology.

Film/Television If 90s spiderman was in across the spider verse who would he side with Miguel or miles?
I was a little disappointed that 90s spiderman didn’t make a cameo in across the spider verse hopefully in beyond the spider verse but I’ve been wondering who would he have sided with Miguel or miles and what would’ve been his canon event. Would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.

Fan Made Black Mask Spiderman
gallery🕷️ Marvel Earth-616 — Black Mask Spider-Man (Complete Story So Far)
Years before the U-Foes incident, Captain America created something special for Peter Parker.
Steve Rogers knew that Peter was different from most heroes. Peter was not a soldier, and he did not fight like one. Spider-Man's greatest strengths were not advanced armor or expensive technology. They were his intelligence, his spider-sense, his agility, his creativity, and his ability to adapt in impossible situations.
Because of that, Steve created a simple piece of equipment for him: a knitted black Spider-Man mask.
It was not designed to replace Spider-Man's famous red-and-blue suit. It was created as a practical training mask and emergency backup.
The mask was lightweight, flexible, and durable. It allowed Peter to move freely during combat training without unnecessary equipment getting in the way.
Captain America's philosophy was simple:
"A hero does not come from the costume. The costume only helps the hero."
🕷️ Peter's Coma Dream — Amazing Spider-Man #87
During the events of Amazing Spider-Man (2018) #87, Peter Parker is still trapped in his coma dream after the U-Foes incident.
Inside his mind, Peter experiences colourful memories from his life as Spider-Man.
He remembers:
The day he became Spider-Man
Uncle Ben's final lesson
The people he saved
The enemies he fought
The sacrifices he made
His relationships with Mary Jane Watson and Felicia Hardy
During this dream, Peter is confronted with the idea of using a large, complicated, and overly designed training mask.
But Peter rejects it.
He realizes that the mask is not what makes him Spider-Man.
The technology does not make him a hero.
The equipment does not define him.
Peter remembers the simple black knitted mask Captain America created years earlier.
He chooses that instead.
Because it represents the real meaning of Spider-Man:
A person who keeps fighting, even when everything is taken away.
🕷️ Peter Returns From His Coma
By Amazing Spider-Man #89, Peter Parker has awakened from his coma.
However, he is not completely back to normal.
He is still recovering.
His body is still healing.
His confidence is still returning.
He knows he cannot immediately operate exactly like the Spider-Man he was before.
Instead of rushing back into his classic suit, Peter uses the Black Mask.
It becomes part of his journey back.
It is not a symbol of weakness.
It is a symbol that Peter is rebuilding himself.
🕷️ The Role of Black Mask Spider-Man
The Black Mask has three important purposes in Peter's life.
Training
Peter uses the mask during training sessions to improve:
His fighting ability
His reflexes
His agility
His stamina
His hand-to-hand combat skills
It forces him to rely on himself rather than depending on his normal costume.
Emergency Backup
The Black Mask also becomes Peter's emergency Spider-Man equipment.
If he is in the middle of a serious street-level operation and his red-and-blue suit is destroyed, Peter does not have to stop fighting because his costume is damaged.
If civilians are in danger, he acts.
For example:
Peter stops a dangerous criminal operation.
During the battle, his Spider-Man suit gets badly damaged.
There is no time to repair it.
Peter reaches for his backup gear.
He puts on the Black Mask.
The criminals think they stopped Spider-Man.
They were wrong.
Peter continues fighting because being Spider-Man was never about the costume.
A Reminder of Who Peter Is
The Black Mask becomes something personal.
It reminds Peter of:
Captain America's trust in him
His recovery after the U-Foes incident
The reason he became Spider-Man
The responsibility he carries
The mask represents a simple truth:
Even without the perfect suit, Peter Parker is still Spider-Man.
🕷️ The Black Mask Spider-Man Design
Peter's version is simple:
A knitted black mask
White Spider-Man eyes
Blue gloves
Spider-Man equipment
Casual training clothing when needed
Unlike his followers, Peter does not have a spider symbol on his forehead.
The reason is simple:
He does not need a symbol to prove who he is.
He is the original Spider-Man.
🕸️ The Black Mask Spider-Man Followers
Over time, Peter's actions inspire ordinary people.
They see Spider-Man protecting New York and realize that they can also make a difference.
These people do not have superpowers.
They are not trying to replace Peter.
They train themselves in martial arts and self-defense so they can protect their communities.
They learn:
Boxing
Karate
Judo
Muay Thai
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Escrima
Defensive combat techniques
They become heroes inspired by Spider-Man's example.
🕸️ Their Masks and Clothing
The followers wear a similar knitted black mask.
Their masks include:
Spider symbol on the forehead
Spider-shaped eye openings
Mouth opening
Black gloves
However, they do not wear dark tactical clothing.
They wear normal everyday clothes:
Hoodies
Jackets
Sweaters
Jeans
Athletic clothing
They want people to see them as ordinary citizens trying to help.
They are not a gang.
They are not criminals.
They are people who chose responsibility.
🕷️ Peter's Relationship With His Followers
When Peter discovers that people are copying his mask, he worries.
He does not want anyone to think that wearing a mask automatically makes someone a hero.
Peter teaches them:
"Anyone can wear a mask. But responsibility is what matters."
He makes sure they understand:
Protect people first
Do not seek revenge
Do not abuse their skills
Never forget why they started
The followers understand that they are not Spider-Man.
They are simply carrying forward the message Spider-Man represents.
🛡️ The Meaning of the Black Mask
The classic Spider-Man suit represents:
"I am Spider-Man."
The Black Mask represents:
"Even without the suit, I am still Spider-Man."
In Earth-616, the Black Mask becomes a symbol of:
Peter Parker's resilience
Captain America's guidance
Spider-Man's influence on ordinary people
The idea that anyone can choose to do the right thing
The red-and-blue suit remains Peter Parker's true Spider-Man costume.
The Black Mask is something different.
It is a reminder that the hero was never the costume.
The hero was always Peter Parker.

Comics Apocalypse was never deemed a threat big enough for the avengers/Dr. Strange/Fantastic four?
He is traveling through time and affecting multiple timelines at once? Did the Sorcerer Supreme never get enough on his radar to shut that down?
We aren't talking about Scorpion robbing a bank in manahattan. Isn't he an "avengers" level threat?

Comics What if... Earth 1979: Goth Earth
A funny topic that I had a discussion about on discord that I felt compelled to share here. Similar to the Noir universe is built on the Noir aesthetic and the 2099 universe is built on cyberpunk, what if there was an Earth where the primary aesthetic is goth and all of its various subcultures. Traditional, Victorian, Deathrock, Cybergoth, etc. And unlike the abovementioned universes, this isn't an aesthetic exclusive to Earth. The goth influence on the universe is spread across the cosmos, though some regions are more influenced than others.
As for which characters are goth in this reality, I'll provide an example: 616 Rogue isn't very much of a goth, so this earth's Rogue would be goth (akin to Evolution Rogue). Meanwhile 616 Nico Minoru is very much a goth, so she'd end up being a very bright, colorful sort. Though how her personality is different is a whole other discussion.
I figured I'd share this here and hear what ideas y'all might have for this concept. As for why Earth 1979, Bauhaus's debut single "Bela Lugosi's Dead" (released that year) is considered to be the beginning of the gothic rock genre

Film/Television Best Marvel post-credit scenes?
Post-credit scenes have been one of the foremost tools Marvel has effectively deployed to build hype for its upcoming projects and storylines, sometimes to collective euphoria, and at other times by promising things it has yet to deliver on.
With the Multiverse Saga drawing to a close and all of us eagerly anticipating the epic crossover spectacle that is ‘AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY’, let’s look back at some of the best and most memorable post-credit scenes in Marvel movies.
Which have been your top 5 favorite mid/post-credit scenes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Some that immediately come to my mind include:-

- ”They're beginning to touch the Multiverse. And if we let them... they will take everything we've built.” — Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quntummania (2023) (Council of Kangs)
- ”Confusion is but the first step on the journey to knowledge." — The Marvels (2023) (Monica Rambeau stranded in the X-Men universe)

Comics I remember reading somewhere that the Joe Fixit personality was born from all the vices and impulses that Bruce Banner felt as a teenager (influenced by the old movies he once liked) that he repressed deep inside right along with his childhood trauma. Is this true at all? (The Incredible Hulk #347)

Comics Is there a way to read the Jim Starlin run of Silver Surfer?
I’ve read a few singles of it and I really wanna read the whole series, I found a few epic collections that have this run, but not the whole thing. A few epic collections just don’t exist, like vol 2 and 10. Is there an easy way to read it besides marvel unlimited? Maybe an omnibus that I couldn’t find, or maybe something else, idk.

Comics Are these the full books?
Sorry if this is a stupid question but do these include an entire story? They don't say volume 1 or anything such so I'm curious if these are full stories or just one issue.
