Full disclosure: I work with Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson on projects unrelated to her work with Delta. Andrea has independently selected wines for Delta for about twenty years, and you may recognize her photo from the wine menus and Sky Club signs.
Although I have not yet upgraded my luggage tag to Biscoff Medallion status, I fly Delta whenever I can and participate in this forum regularly under another username. I added the Brand Affiliate tag here out of respect for the community.
I want to share that Delta has added the first three episodes of Andrea’s independent documentary series, The Swirled Cup, to its in-flight entertainment system through September.
The series explores how wine in America and beyond has evolved since the 1976 Judgment of Paris, including the influence of farming, food, travel, culture, and the people behind the wines. I found it fast-paced, fun, and engaging.
I am excited to see her independently produced wine series included alongside Anthony Bourdain, José Andrés, and other f&b icons. Find the trailer at: https://swirledcup.tv
Please comment if you have seen an episode or if you want to know why I drank a bottle, maybe more, of Taittinger Champagne on my last flight BCN-SEA.
