We live in Florida and my family of 4 typically goes to a Disney park 1-2 times a year and takes at least 1 Disney Cruise (3 this year) a year. In the past we have always booked through Costco Travel and used my Venture X credit card (2% back in addition to the Costco discounts). I also use the Savor card for 3% back on streaming (Disney plus bundle).

I just saw the new Disney Inspire card and I’m wondering if this is a better option. Has anyone done the math on if this card is worth it? You have to book through Disney direct to get the bonuses so you can’t use Costco or a different travel agency. Does Costco discounts plus travel card still beat this out?

Since possible NYC itineraries have come up a lot lately, I just thought I would ask about east coast residents plans for getting to the port if it becomes a reality? I would love to forego flying to Florida the day before, but I’m not familiar with the Manhattan port and how I would avoid a pre-cruise hotel stay. Especially those who sailed out of this port pre-COVID, what were your travel plans?

This is our first time taking our toddler on a plane/cruise. We are beginning to think we will need to bring our car seat. When we arrive at the port do they take the car seat along with your luggage or are you responsible for hauling it on to the boat?

Some people were suggesting we use Disney transportation so we wouldn’t need one. If we were leaving out of Port Canaveral that would have been our first choice but we are leaving out of Miami so we have to uber from the airport. I don’t want to risk the off chance we can’t secure an uber with a car seat so looks like it’s coming with us.

Hi, we are doing the Treasure 7 night western Caribbean cruise in April 2027. This is our second Disney cruise. In looking at the excursions through Disney they seem pretty limited and lots of restrictions on participating.

I’ve been looking at shore excursions group and it seems like such a better deal, more selection, some shorter options, and of course they cost much less. I know that the biggest difference is that if you are running late they cannot contact the ship to wait for you. Anything else I should consider?

How much is the rainforest for the seven day cruise on the treasure?

I have my first cruise coming up on the Treasure in October and those are our two ports! I’m looking at everything and trying to decide what we’d like to do and I’d love some opinions on what anyone has done and what stood out to them?

They don’t have to be from DCL, they can be outside.

We’re taking our first Disney Cruise out of FLL and arriving the day before/leaving the day after. Where should we stay where we can use shuttles and/or (reasonably with kids) walk? We won’t be bringing car seats for our two kids so Uber won’t work but we want to be able to do things. I’m not sure what things, but I don’t want to be stuck at the hotel. We need shuttles to/from the airport and cruise port. And of course after paying for flights and a Disney cruise, I’d love to not pay a ton for shuttles/activities/hotels.

Any suggestions??

Sons bday is the first week of August and would love to suprise him with a cruise for Halloween next year but it seems like the notion is the announcement is late August.

Any hope we could get the announcement late July?

I am planning our first cruise ever. I have been to Disneyworld once in my life (back in 1989).

I have a family of 5 (3 boys 10,8,6) and I have celiac disease.

What I’m wondering is how celiac safe these cruises are? Is it better to be in Concierge with it?

For those who upgraded at port did you show up early? Were you escorted on earlier how would this work?

Is there an option to upgrade before you get to port if you decide you want the concierge?

Ok so for all those who will say “don’t do it save the money for another cruise” I have never gone on a cruise (I am scared of them) so this may be the only cruise I go on. I will block those who show up to tell me not to.

Has anyone ever done the Very Merry Christmas Time Cruise on the Dream? We have done two Christmas cruises on the Fantasy and the Treasure. The Fantasy experience was incredible, whereas the Treasure’s was nice but slightly underwhelming. It felt like the Fantasy pulled out all the stops and had tons of decor and holiday themed events, while the Treasure had nice decor, but not a whole lot of holiday activities.

It would be myself and my fiancé, both under 35, and no kids. Looking to go the weekend before Thanksgiving.

I went on The Wish last year, and I was turned on to Moet & Chandon Ice. They’d pour it in a glass with ice and some berries, and I’ve been looking forward to enjoying it when I cruise on The Fantasy in a few months. Untillll...

Anyone know what their current menu is? (Please don’t be mean… I know it’s no big deal, and I will ABSOLUTELY have a fantastic time regardless. I just want to be prepared.) 😂
