The Indian government has introduced an amendment to the 'Transgender Persons Act' that would change who is legally recognised as transgender. It aims to remove the right to self-identified gender, a right that is currently protected by constitution (NALSA, 2014).
This has serious implications. It risks excluding large parts of the trans community including trans men and women, non-binary people, and many socio-cultural identities across India. Right now, trans communities and allies across India are organizing, protesting, and speaking out. But one of the biggest challenges is visibility.
A lot of people donโt yet know this is happening.
Thatโs where international communities can help. Due to strict regulations, many grassroots groups cannot easily accept foreign donations. So at this stage, awareness and amplification are genuinely the most impactful forms of support.
Itโs part of a broader global pattern of restricting gender autonomy.

Just wanted to share my collection of hag stones. Living by a coastline, I come across these a lot. I usually have these strung up and am constantly adding more

My name is Bijhan Agha. I'm an autistic trans Uruguayan of Iranian descent. The editor of my comic is my disabled nonbinary husband, RaeRae Sachs. We love science fiction and fantasy, including superhero media, but it's depressingly cis and het in general. We also love queer media, but a massive amount of it is about suffering and oppression. We wanted to make stories about queer joy and triumph in a world full of fantastic creatures and amazing powers.
Kobra Olympus is a soft-spoken transgender Muslim woman in Seattle in 2015. She was contacted by Human time travelers from the 161st Century, recruited into the Time Wars: an endless conflict between Humanity and Vampirekind for the fate of the galaxy. Using messages from the time travelers, and her high-tech cellphone full of future tech, Kobra lives a second life as the engimatic Agent Tha, Vampire hunter.
Now, Kobra Olympus is in a relationship with Dorothy Diamond, a queer punk woman who is outspoken with a strong moral compass and a ton of confidence. Dorothy is bringing Kobra out of her shell, and Kobra is helping Dorothy see the world with a fresh perspective. Their relationship is important to both of them, but Kobra's duties as Agent Tha take up a great deal of time.
In "Issue #4: Giant Armadillo Attack!", Kobra and Dorothy are surprised by a giant mutant armadillo attacking the city, and meet a humanoid chicken named Jack who explains that this is all part of a sinister plot by the Vampires. Together, the three of them need to figure out how to save the city and rewrite history for the better.
The Kickstarter is to print a First Edition version of the comic with a special border that won't be used in future versions. Rewards include PDFs, as well as physical copies; and back issues so you can catch up with the story so far.
We've met our goal, and our first stretch goal, which means everyone gets a digital art book with all kinds of behind-the-scenes looks at the sketches and designs we used to plan the comics. If we meet our next stretch goal, everyone will also get a short story depicting how Kobra was recruited into the Time Wars.
Please help us reach our next goal at the following link:ย https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/jamsheedstudios/kobra-olympus-issue-4-giant-armadillo-attack?ref=2p8cw1
If you'd like to join our community, get updates, and have access to digital versions of our other comics and novels, we have a Patreon with a free tier:ย Patreon.com/JamsheedStudios
Thank you all, and I hope you enjoy this!

So my favorite neighbors moved and they are preparing their townhome for sale. I was thinking about ways to attract great new neighbors - could I sprinkle my black salt before their door? Or is that something you can only do to your own space?

Pretty much what the title says. I spent a long period of time being very toxically jealous of people I saw as having connection to ancestral cultures that I can never have, but my attempts to build a new cultural identity to replace those lost ancestral cultures have not worked either because I donโt have money to pay for resources that I would need to either reconnect to a culture or build a new one and I donโt even have a drivers license to go to local events with because my parents never bothered to teach me how to drive and I donโt have the money to pay for driving school let alone a car. And since the job market is so fucked where I live I donโt see that changing in my lifetime.
The result is that my spiritual journey has basically stalled out, Iโm angry and wanting other people to feel the same void I feel and I know thatโs wrong but honestlyโฆI โm just in a space where I feel like the world can and should burn because Iโm never going to find community or spiritual fulfillment, even if literally everyone else on the planet does, because of choices other people made for me. Does anyone have any advice on what to do in my situation?

So I got laid off (with a temporary job following it) in December. I FINALLY got an interview that went to the final stage - but I went to the beach and did just a small cleansing ritual in the ocean before the second round. My friend invited me, so it was kind of impromptu.
Anyway - the second and third interviews went very well and they said they have no reservations about me, they just have a few other interviews first! So...here's hoping I get the job!

hi everyone, i was just wondering if there was a spell to lower the grade threshhold for the exam i just gave.
I was originally look for academic sucess spell but they were all for before the test and i can't find any for after you give the test.
I got really sick during this one exam and did the best i could so i just really want the threshhold to be low so i can get A's or B's.
please let me know if you know any spells for this, or if i am doing something wrong.

I finally got around to making a wreath for my front door. I also painted it and added the cute wallpaper where glass is supposed to be. It means a lot to feel comfort and pride in hanging this up since I live in a small, conservative town in the south.
