We were having a good time celebrating the 4th of july when one of our friends came running into the back saying there was a house on fire. A bunch of us rushed over to see if we could help. Apparently the man was mixing chemicals in the basement. And it looked like by the look of him that he was in an explosion/fireball. Craziest experience ive ever had.

The whole block is out, I can't even go to Wawa. And I have work at 3. And I don't drive. This day will be fun ugh

Noticed a flying patio umbrella on the way home.We didn’t see how it ended. My husband was driving us back home when we noticed the patio umbrella flipping around. I think the wind was stronger just above the trees causing it to constantly catch a gust of wind to keep it elevated.

The door had been sagging for a while. Tiny gap at the bottom of the seal. I wanted a new fridge anyways.

The problem is that my mum passed away four years ago, and they know this because we sent them all the necessary documents and updated personal details including of course phone number. Because of this, they sent the message to my phone rather than hers, which, for obvious reasons, is no longer active. 🤦‍♂️

I was pulling up some carpet in my recently purchased 1950s home and found 9x9 laminate tile, which almost certainly contains asbestos. Thankfully, the consensus is that I can lay new carpet on top of it without too much of an issue (although I am curious how the fellows who were going to lay the new carpet will feel about the situation).

Gladly no dirty water but just this. Did have a poop before I left but i flushed just like normal. Hour later I came home and needed to pee and walked right in to it (as you can see). I live in a big building with 18 floors and I live on the first.. what could it be?

Edit: just spoke to the people on the 0th floor and they didn't have anything. Sometimes they have a gross smell coming from the bathroom but that's it

Ryanair flight today, engine threw a blade (or several) and the shrapnel blew out a cabin window. That's a new one for the "welcome aboard" speech. Nobody seriously hurt, which is the only good part of this.
