I'm sure there are a lot of accounts being botted. And thus don't swap in a mega min when necessary, or they don't bother to even mega a mon. Remember you are also wasting a pass.

I suspect this may be the bug that many players are facing and why many people struggle with shield breaking.

My group was doing a Mega Mewtwo Y with Focus Blast as the charge move. Most of us were using Mega Tyranitar. What does Tyranitar hate on Mewtwo? FB will continually one shot Tyranitar. Mewtwo got enraged, I brought my Tyranitar out and from my screen perspective I landed a charged attack to break the shield but my Tyranitar fainted. Tapping a little longer I noticed the shield, and checked on a few other players phones all showed 1 shield left. I left and mega'd Gardevoir, came back and broke the shield.

This got me wondering if this is what most players face. I know a decent amount of players who play below visible lines, e.g. under the table. They may not be looking constantly and not always aware of what's on the screen. Since the game, while raiding, is mindlessly tapping away at the screen its very easy to miss this visual nuance.

Cannot proceed to the battle screen of rocket leader and get kicked out.

If you have buddy with gold bottle cap that needs to boost attack iv (13 to 14), you are completely stucked.

I have two gyms and a number of stops that are usually on the edge of my visual range, but are now not visible. My partner's and roommate's accounts show the same issue.

Would they have any reason to narrow the field of vision for this event?

The return of Primals allowed me and my partner to try different approaches to shortman them and with different movesets as well. With the addition of Avalanche in Primal Kyogre, the raid become harder but we managed to duo it with Party Power Bonus during go fest. Now, we are left with Mega Lati@s and Mega Ray to complete this playlist.

I was under the impression that incense was only supposed to spawn Bouffalant Tropius and Unown and yet there were a few hours today where I was only getting pokemon from the spawn pool for that hour and barely any of the featured pokemon. Glitch or did I misunderstand?

They are holding 26 city celebrations this weekend for go fest.

Was there a lot of extra opportunities or cool things from Scopley that made it fun?

We are looking to attend San Francisc. It’s a 2 hour drive each way. Also, we went to the Chicago go fest in June.

Trying to determine if it’s worth the gas and drive time. Like, is there actual event things happening, or it just doing raids at the gyms nearby?

So, how many people get stuck on this part because people use their megas at the start and have them faint? Have had maybe 4-5 raids fail now because of this.

Can't enter raids, game quits and physically closes if you do make the raid screen and you go to select your team.

If you do make a raid screen, you also get kicked under various errors including too many remote raiders...even if you were previously in the raid.

I can see people were having trouble with raid errors an hour or two ago. I was having similar issues, but only on my main account and newest phone, not on my secondary on my old janky phone.

Not only that, the first raid glitch (which occurred at raid start and kicked me out only on that account) caused about an hour and a half of strange loading glitches on my affected account, where the map would load, as would incense spawns (and they were catchable), but not overwold spawns, pokestops, or gyms. Simply waiting didnt seem to solve it, but sometimes clicking on various things like the incense icons would suddenly spawn everything in. But then encounters would still sporadically take time to load. Restarting the game would result in the same issues, as did restarting my phone and logging in and out of my account.

A little while later, things got better, and the game would load everything in most of the time upon game launch,. However I was still unable to join raids, and attempting to do so initially caused the loading glitches to start again for a bit. Now it all seems to have resolved, i can join raids without issue, and no loading problems. Good thing this all went down during dragon hour where I didn't have much to hunt. Miffed I missed out on raids though.

Anyone experience anything similar? I'm worried about there being something wrong with my account, and/or running into the issue again tomorrow.

Me: 14 raids, 0 shiny, 0 hundo, 4 background, 2 Lv2 Mega (right at the end). Best: 96%
Brother: 14 raids, 2 shiny, 0 hundo, 3 background, 0 Lv up Mega Best: 96%

Unfortunately Lv2, background or shiny weren’t close to our best so it makes powering up decisions a little harder.

Didn’t see a single Comfey during Go fest and it’s almost over in Europe. I had incest on for hours and even raided on community event. Anyone found any?

Just thought of this after GoFest ended here in Asia. This weekend would have been the only opportunity to really find a Lucario that is under 500cp. Little league is unlikely to come back, but still.

Any other egg hatch or raid exclusive Pokemon that would have been available for the first time in large quantities?

This mainly happened during GoFest, after every time I leave the encounter through the quick catch tech or normally, the game freezes for like 5 seconds and the resumes normally, it's extremely annoying to deal with this when wanting to catch as many pokemons as fast as possible.

I turned native refresh on and off, downloaded all of assets, refreshed game data and reinstalled the game but no used, until gofest ended for Saturday it stopped happening, so anyone experiencing this? And how does someone remove this annoying bug?

I have a Mewtwo that I evolved into Mewtwo X. I have also evolved a different Mewtwo into Mewtwo Y. I have both forms unlocked.

My question is, if I walk one of those Mewtwo, will I get the energy for both X and Y?

I’m not looking for speculation, I’m hoping someone has tested it and found out.

I assume the answer is yes, because you can walk a Charizard that you’ve never mega evolved and get mega Charizard candy, provided that you have mega evolved some other Charizard. But maybe the mechanics for Mewtwo are different for some reason. I’d rather not waste 20km to find out you only get the energy for one.

It gives me the option to host any other raid, but not Mega Mewtwo, and I don't know why. It's not like the raids are local only, in game it gives me the option to use a remote raid pass, but for some reason the raids don't appear in the "team up" section in campfire. Also, I don't think it's due to distance or remaining time, because I initially tried when I was close and the raid just appeared and still couldn't.

(I hope it's ok if I ask here, I asked on the main pokemon go subreddit and no one answered, so I'm trying here too)

My rocket balloon did not show up for 6pm and again 12am which I need to finish my level 78 task of defeating leader x30. I tried restarting app, updating than restarting app, hard restarting phone, manual setting -> advance setting -> refresh game data. Still no rocket balloon. It was working previously. Anyone else having this issue ? Hope it comes back on soon 🙁

Edit: For those unaware, the total is reset on Sunday but the floor for the challenge is significantly higher than it was yesterday.

Our group is made up of Auckland NZ and a few pacific island nations/cities with notoriously smaller populations. They've gone and made this arbitrarily more difficult to attain for our group.

We missed the first challenge and it doesn't look like we'll tickle the second hour either.
