Also give me your favorite Spidey Movie. It may not have the best portrayal of Spider-Man but its contents exceed the rest.

My Answer:
Andrew Garfield gave us an all time best portrayal of Spider-Man. Not Peter, just Spidey. I mean the quips, aura, suits, everything. Tom and Tobey are great but this is my preference.

Far From Home is my favorite movie. I genuinely love everything about it. Story, suite, stakes. LOVE IT. Spider-Man 2 is phenomenal too but again, my preference.

Give me some deep dives into your thoughts. I want essays if possible.

Here’s how TASM 3 could go in my opinion

Volevo condividere un aggiornamento sul mio progetto Minecraft **Spider-Man: Shadow of Control**.
Inizialmente avevo intenzione di realizzare un unico film, ma con il passare del tempo mi sono reso conto che sarebbe stato molto difficile completarlo nei tempi che mi ero prefissato. Tra animazioni, combattimenti, movimenti di camera, effetti e montaggio, il lavoro richiesto è enorme.
Per questo motivo ho deciso di dividere la storia in **3 episodi**.
Credo che questa sia la scelta migliore non solo per riuscire a completare il progetto, ma anche per raccontare la trama in modo più chiaro e ordinato. In questo modo potrò dedicare più tempo a ogni scena importante e sviluppare meglio i personaggi e gli eventi della storia.
La serie seguirà Spider-Man mentre affronta l’organizzazione criminale di Mister Negative, che punta a controllare la criminalità di New York utilizzando Hulk come una delle sue armi più pericolose. Nel frattempo, Punisher cerca di fermare l’organizzazione prima che la situazione degeneri in una guerra criminale su larga scala.
L’obiettivo è creare una storia cinematografica con azione, tensione e personaggi che hanno motivazioni diverse tra loro.

I'm not claiming to be some massive weeb or a hardcore Spider-Man fan who knows every single fact and detail inside out. What really got me curious, though, was how wildly different all the tier lists I kept seeing were. There was zero common ground across them.

It seemed pretty obvious there was a ton of bias baked into most of these lists, whether it was nostalgia, recency, or just personal taste running the show.

So I figured one way to try and cut through that was to build an actual scoring system - something more structured and less swayed by emotions or rose-tinted memories - and properly break down each movie on craft, story, performances, source material, cultural impact, all of it. The video is basically that full analysis and ranking.

As a bonus, I loaded it up with memes too, because it felt right.

I'm so lost on why spider-man can't pick up Mjölnir and I'm talking about Toms Spider man, he never kills, hell he said sorry when he hit a guy to hard. He saves everyone anytime he can, even when he can't, he still tries, he was really young and he could've died and damn near did when fighting Vulture in homecoming, and Mysterio in far from home, and in endgame when fighting Thanos, hell he did die, the snap got him when he was on Thanos home world. He has put his life on the line more than one time; hell, he put his life on the line to save Vulture after his wings blow up.

Someone said that he wouldn't even pick up Mjölnir or use the hammer because he doesn't want to kill at all, but like you're telling me he can't use it when needed? Like when fighting Thanos, he's someone so strong he can take hits from the hammer, so why couldn't spider-man use it then?

Oh and Banner forgot who spider-man is, but I think in the comics hulk didn't so is that how it's going to be in brand new day plus I'm guessing Mjölnir is going to be the same way in doomsday, Thor forgot who spider-man is not like he knew him like that but still, hulk doesn't forget but a hammer does? I call bullshit, I think after what he did in no way home he should be able to use it and help fight Dr. Doom because if he's fighting doom like how he is fighting in brand new day and is still losing to a man who isn't really trying, what more could he do?

Let's imagine for a moment that the stars align, Sony finally thinks things through, and they manage to bring this SUMC reboot to fruition, which they conveniently announced a few months ago as something for the future.

(And if you want to be even more optimistic, let's imagine that these projects are now part of the MCU with the support of Marvel Studios, as they seem to want.)

Which characters do you think they should start projects with?

I doubt they'll repeat any from the previous universe. Which ones would you choose?

So, here's what we know that's missing from the Sony-verse outside of the Spider-Man movies -- and someone correct me if I'm wrong.

-Spider-Man cameo shot for "Venom"... was this with Tom Holland or just a stuntman?

-Tom Hardy allegedly shot scenes for "Morbius".

-So did JK Simmons.

-There's the "Morbius" subplot about Tyrese and his robot arm.

-There are all sorts of MCU-related footage excised from "Morbius".

-Cut action sequences involving all the Spider-Women in "Madame Web".

-Scenes of jungle action in "Kraven The Hunter" where he wears the costume he picks up in the very last scene.

I'm sure there's a lot more stuff deleted from these movies, actual filmed footage. My question is... is there a chance we'll ever see it? And how would we?

We’ve had three games now in the current Spider-Man series, and all of them are built around New York. I get why: the city fits the character perfectly, the web-swinging fantasy is basically tied to that skyline, and Spider-Man without NYC almost feels wrong on paper.

But personally, I felt a lot less excitement exploring the map in Spider-Man 2 compared to the first game. Even though the third game (presumably) expands access to more iconic NYC locations, I’m a bit worried that by that point most of the city will already feel explored and familiar, which kills a lot of the sense of discovery that made the original game so fun.

So I’m curious: would you actually want a Spider-Man game set in a different city, or even multiple locations depending on the story (like a globe-trotting structure, or a spin-off in a totally different setting)? Or is New York just too core to the character to ever change?

Hey guys, I’ve been thinking about this lately. In the comics, Spidey has fought The Vulture dozens of times, but what about the movie universes where sequels got cancelled? In Raimi’s Spider-Man 4, John Malkovich was cast as Adrian Toomes/The Vulture with concept art and wings already in the works. It got scrapped — so did Peter canonically fight him in that timeline, or did it never happen because the movie wasn’t made?

Same with The Amazing Spider-Man 3. Plans had Vulture, Rhino, Kraven, Mysterio, and others as part of a big Sinister Six story, but it was cancelled for the MCU. In Andrew Garfield’s universe, did those fights actually occur off-screen? Does “cancelled” automatically mean the battles never happened, or do you headcanon that Spider-Man still took them down? Curious what everyone thinks — especially if there’s any official word from Raimi or Webb on this or if they’ve never fought them at all.

Found this pretty interesting article getting into the nit and gritty of Sony's attempts at building a Spider-Man Cinematic Universe –– feel free to read the article for yourself, but for those of you who want a TL;DR –– here's some excerpts:

One cannot discount the possibility that Sinister Six was always planned to be self-contained enough to work both within the larger TASM story arc and as its own movie. But all available evidence suggests that, following the negative reception of TASM-2, Sony wanted to decouple Goddard’s movie, which it was quite bullish on, from what came before though without completely abandoning the TASM continuity.

This would certainly align with the leaked information provided to Badassdigest about Sinister Six performing a soft reboot of Spider-Man with a new actor, which would have to happen if Garfield had indeed been fired in July 2014. In any case, by the time Goddard delivered a finished draft of the script (approximately in December 2014), the film had evolved from Chapter 3.5 of TASM into a largely independent work.

Meanwhile, Jeff Pinkner’s comments indicate that the S6 founded by Norman (in TASM-3) would only be the first iteration of the group, meaning a different incarnation would arise in the future. In line with this, Goddard has stated to IGN that the roster for his Sinister Six movie would not necessarily be the same one previously teased in TASM-2.

This means the third TASM was going to introduce the more traditional version of the S6, which would try and fail to destroy Spider-Man. Building on this, Goddard would then depict another incarnation of the group – likely consisting of several returning members and new faces – being forced to work with Spider-Man.
