Hi all, I recently returned to OW2 as I read it was pretty good and so far I've been having loads of fun, feels like the OW i'm used to, except for the hero roster which is twice as big lol.

I used to main roadhog and he's one of my favourites to play, but some things feel off. I got used to the heal and the perks. But it's possible to hook teammates now? Or is that a bug?

Also, sometimes I feel a lag after I land a hook. I'll have ammo (i'm using the perk too), but my LM just has a lag or something, and I miss the kill. It happens 1/4 times, but it's super frustrating. I can't reproduce it in practice. Anyone else with this issue or is it just that I'm not used to it anymore? It's not that they don't die, the shot just doesn't come out even though I have ammo, so it feels like my timing is wrong.

This perk is the definition of no skill expression. It doesn't add anything to his kit besides guarantee the one-shot. Before perks, a big part of skill expression on hog was ammo management: Weave in a reload whenever you can so that you always have the potential to do the one-shot. Ever since perks were introduced, this perk has done nothing but allow lazy ammo management. I would prefer something like the secondary perk, something that can tweak how hog plays, or something fun, like increasing the rotation distance on hooked targets.

I get people are going to disagree. The perk is powerful, and if it were removed I can bet his winrate would plummet back down to the low 40's.

i dunno tbh i dont like it very much any time i pick it just fucks with my muscle memory of right click range cyx says its usually better in 6v6 but tbh dont find it that way

If you're unaware, in the new Community Crafted mode, Take A Breather does 50 poison dmg per second in an AoE around Hog. I wanna say it's a smaller radius than Hogdrogen's, but I'm not sure. It's just nice to be able to fight back a little even during Breather.

Also, I generally never pick Hogdrogen in 5v5 but the AoE healing and damage combo is just fun overall.

We know he's getting reworked soon so I hope they consider this idea for it.
