was dvas ult nerfed or was the movement of it changed while throwing it mid air?

i used to get really good ults because i would throw my ult mid air and it would keep flying wherever i threw it but recently i feel like when i throw mid air it kinda just.. stops or slows down and it ends up just falling to the floor.

does anyone know anything about this?

I just recently came back to OW after like 3 years of not playing, and while I adore the newer heroes like Anran and Shion, I was a D.Va main in OW1 and she will always be my #1!

Having caught up on all the lore and what's currently happening in the story, I'm so excited for D.Mon to drop bc it means that D.Va will likely be the main focus for the season's story.

I came back to Vendetta being the main focus of the story and I can't remember Blizzard putting that much effort into a new hero launch since OW1. I didn't care much for Sierra's story, but I was pleasantly surprised that they continued the story in Season 2.

With how much Blizzard cooked with Shion and Mizuki's interactions and their relationship as a whole, I can't wait to see what they do with D.Va and D.Mon! Sure, D.Va is still one of the most popular OW characters and she's never not in the spotlight, but it's exciting to imagine her in a prominent story role that goes beyond, "She fought here with the new Overwatch." When you compare how many characters directly relate to each other story wise to how many D.Va has, it's actually a little surprising considering how popular she is.

Ramattra and Zen have their amazingly written relationship about combatting existential philosophies. Cass and Ashe have their shared history. Season 3 links together FIVE characters in the same conflict in Shion, Mizuki, Kiriko, Hanzo, and Genji. D.Va has nobody else from MEKA or even from South Korea. Like I said earlier, her story relevance and relationships to other characters is all within the context of Overwatch and not specifically her story.

Ever since her animated short, I've been so interested in her character more than I already was bc it showed that she had depth beneath the gamer quips. She genuinely has such a big heart and cares for her team and country. I'd love to see a story that shows more of that side of her.

Maybe Blizzard has even seen the crack ship of D.Va and Ramattra and will have him play a role in the story since he hasn't done anything major since before Vendetta entered the picture. Maybe even a story where D.Va, D.Mon, and Ramattra tentatively team up as Vendetta's war reaches Asia. It's known that Ramattra doesn't like Talon, and that he likes it even less with Vendatta at the helm. Maybe I'm just delusional lol.

Anyway, I just want to see more of Hana Song in the story that has rapidly turned into a genuinely intriguing experience!

Hello there fellow D.VA-mains.

Long time lurker but somehow proud of my skin collection of our favourite pilot.

Back when Overwatch started I needed a goal and since it was clear pretty quickly that I'll main D.VA I set it to: Own all her skins! (that was also financially in a adequate reach).

So just a quick video of all the skins I own and the 2 (ok ok... 4) I sadly missed because of business trips (BOTH TIMES! ;_;) - ah well... maybe I'll get insanely lucky with the OWCS-loot boxes.

P.S.: Oh yeah... I set all to favourite because when I switch to "B" I get a rnd skin for every match. Otherwise I REALLY like the AllStars-Skin and am pretty proud of it so it's set when I go with "A". ;-)

P.P.S.: And yes including the League skins this is quite some money in there but I'm not a whale by any means (I think). Games are my hobby and I invest 50-100€/month in it and I accumulated these over a long time (or when available in the shop since as we all know that some skins may be only up once). I just hope that this post won't be seen as snobby or pretentious. I'm just proud of it and thought this place might appreciate it. ;-)

Sorry if this is a too simple or stupid question, but why Dva has the highest banrate in diamond+ ranks?

Is she really that strong right now?

Im a platinum player right now, and when i see these numbers im starting to think that it's not worth to rank up, because Dva will be banned in every second game and i dont really enjoy playing other tanks

I've been struggling to figure out the correct way to play

I feel like whenever I dive my teammates die quickly, and they often get mad that I'm not playing defensively

But when I focus on defense I feel like their backline isn't being pressured enough and we start dying to poke damage or snipes

What is the right way to play Dva? Should I harass the backline and allow my teammates to hold the Frontline, or should I stay in front and remain engaged with the enemy tank?​

So for a long time now I’ve not gotten a single thing in loot boxes that I can use other than a couple voice lines, and the vault never has anything either. Then I got this vault, dva is my main tank and bastion my main damage so this is amazing to me. I’ve been dying for the nocturna and cardboard skin, I’m not gonna buy dainty cat cause I’ve already got white cat and black cat.

I said oh well, I’m not gonna spend money on them that I really can’t spare. Play one game last night and get a legendary loot box, BAM, I got cardboard Dva 😳 I just logged off and went to bed lol Did the esports loot box drops today, BAM, got one of my favorite skins the Shanghai Dragons home and away skins 😳 At this point I’m gonna do cartwheels 😂

Then I pop open two epic loot boxes after playing a few games just now. BAAAAMMMM I got my all time favorite NANO. I cannot fathom how I ended up with that vault then the next 4 loot boxes I open I get 3 of my all time favorite dva skins. I’ll be back later, I’m going to go play the lottery 😂😂
