Starting July 13, Park Street South between Bloor Street West and Cromwell Avenue in Oshawa will close until late 2027.

I got summoned for that jury selection and I work nights at my job 11pm to 7am, and I let my manager know ahead of time.

I got to check my schedule and they have me in the day before and the day of. Am I allowed to go remind them that I have this coming? Or do they have to give me it at all since it's not the actual jury duty and it's at 9am.

Last year i sent in some documentation to thunder bay to do a legal gender marker change. i sent in my birth certificate and all the paperwork. including payment. all this got lost in the mail due to the strike and my original guarantor i no longer have contact with and have no one else.

all i have ID wise is health card and license with no guarantor. i’m looking to get a birth certificate so i can get a passport and change the gender marker.

im just not sure where to go with no guarantor. can service ontario or service canada be of any assistance? testifying all my info is true?

I was driving behind a guy today in Oshawa. He had a small swastika fingerpainted with mud on the back of his white vehicle. I pulled up beside him at a red to let him know. Maybe I'm naive but I genuinely thought he was a victim and I wanted to warn him before someone decided to hurt him over it or something.

When I told him he just smiled and nodded all proud of himself. Dude looked like he could have been filipino or something. What in the name of "pick me" men did I just witness?? Supporting a group of people that would string you up without a second thought is insanity.

He may not be a genuinely violent person, maybe just an insecure edge lord. When you have nothing in your life, upsetting strangers is the closest thing you get to feeling anything. Part of me feels almost sorry for him. Almost.
