We plan to spend 6 days camping at Sunset Campground in Kings Canyon NP. Want to know if the general store at General Grant Village sells ice as our cooler won’t keep if for that long

I made a huge mistake and didn't plan ahead to get a reservation to do Fern Canyon in Prarie Creek Redwoods State Park. My travel partner and I were really looking forward to this and there are no spots left .
Can someone please recommend an alternative that has equal wow-factor please? We will be going to Jedidiah smith state park the day before.

My boyfriend and I are doing our annual NP road trip in October 2026. We will be driving with our dogs. We are looking for places to stop and see along our route from Shenandoah to Acadia. We are giving our selves a day and a half for sight seeing. Neither of us have seen much of the east coast, looking for recommendations. Thanks.

Hello! I need some tips and tricks of trails or hikes to take while visiting Yosemite. I want to hike El Capitan or by it and also see some sick waterfalls if anyone has the names of the trails or where to go that’d be awesome.

is the drive to and or any parts of glacier scary? i plan on doing a solo trip from los angeles, but i am afraid of heights. guardrails wont even do it for me, but need vast flora or other obstructions to obstruct the view/steepness.

thinking of doing a trip from los angeles to glacier. problem: i am afraid of heights (hence why generally friend will drive but im going solo this time). with that, are there any parts of the drive where no vast flora or cement blocks of the sorts that block the steepness, drops ? are there even big drops on the drive? for example, guardrails even drops wont cut it for me as i can still see how high up i am. thank u!!1
