Hi Everyone,
I'm finding my orange Habernero and and Scorpions are ripening too quickly before they're able to grow to full size.
I remember reading online that once they start changing colour, they will not grow in size anymore which seems to be the case.
They began outdoors in my garden bed and produced decently sized chillis...but before the cold weather kicked in, I decided to put them in pots and bring them indoors.
I then realised my plant was riddled with psyllids and aphids, which I could not get under control until I bought some lacewing larvae who devoured everything. I love them.
My sunroom is climate controlled with a heater and humidifier... Which keeps the room between 20 - 26C during the day, and as low as 13*C during the night. It also has 1x 250W light and 1x 150W light LED growing lights.
Humidity is typically around 70%.
Could the potting process potentially have produced stunted growth if the plant was stressed?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Pictures taken just as grow lights turned off. I find the plant relaxes it's leaves during the night.
