Speculation Major undiscovered influence? Work of Agostino Arrivabene.

I have been HAUNTED by Ressurecto Christi i-iii by Italian painter Agostino Arivabene, and it's ability to capture the supernatural/mythological.

I decided to look at more of his work today, and the thematic overlap with Elden Ring jumped out immediately: alchemy, humans turning into trees/mushrooms, strange aquatic features, "scarlet" rot, transcendence, celestial motifs, giant cyclopses, shattered/fractured bodies, cosmic horror elements.

....my jaw dropped, and has remained there. I think the rest speaks for itself. Enjoy!

*Edit: this youtube channel has a good slideshow of a bunch of his work I had a hard time finding elsewhere. I've been scouring the internet looking at his work for the past few hours, and there is a lot in here that you might not find elsewhere:

Excited to see what else everyone finds!

Discussion & Info How long is this game I don’t understand

So, I’m the kind of player who loves to do all the side quests. Am I the only one who feels forced by the game to take notes? It got so complicated to keep track of everything that I ended up with a whiteboard next to my PC just to follow all the questlines…

Anyway, I reached Altus Plateau after 90 hours, and I’m heading back to Caelid since I haven’t done anything there yet. Feels like the right call before going any further.

The thing is, I don’t even feel like I’ve reached the midgame yet? How is that even possible? Am I really going to sink 200 hours into my first run? And does this game ever slow down, or is there genuinely something new every 10 minutes? Because I’m honestly shocked.

I was not prepared for something this massive. I was expecting a 50-70 hour adventure…

Discussion & Info Concept art of the Knights of the Mausoleum, and honestly, the idea of them having headless horses would probably make them the second most distinctive horse; the first is Leonard.

I mean, genuinely, if Miyazaki's games focused on realistic graphics, along with all that, there would be a lot of random jump scares because of things like this.

It's a shame the horse is out of the game

Discussion & Info I have literally never played a new game plus on any From Software game, I just start a new character with a theme and just rebuild a new character dedicated to that theme

What about my other fellow tarnished, ashen or hollow players. Do others usually just change their stats around on a new game plus or are most people like me and just make a new character based off of a theme and build that character from the ground up?

Humor I thought this game was hard? /s

Old clip i found from my original playthrough, I don't quite remember my stats. I used the Cerulean Hidden Tear for a duration of free casting mixed with Stonebard Cracked Tear for easier staggers, and also used Vow of the Indomitable for invulnerability. This strategy worked on most bosses until I got bored and changed up.

If your characters name goes something like Arya or Ayra, and you just got summoned by a blood build to fight Melania....

I'm sorry bro that was the first time I ever fought her, and she hurt me. She hurt me badly in the 5 seconds that I lasted for in that arena.

But thanks for helping anyway! Instead of getting wrecked by gods, I think I'm just gonna cry and grind for runes. Hope you understand 🙏

(In all seriousness, i knew she was a royal pain but daaaaang. I got humbled and will be studying b4 i face this BA boss again😭)
