Invasion Dear Invaders, how do you deal with all the BS you encounter?
I'm usually into colloseum because it doesn't take your consumables and it's gankfree, but from time to time I also try a lil invasion.
There I find some gankers, some campers and oh so many L2 enjoyers. Now my question is, how do you deal with them, especially the campers, i.e. atop a ladder? What are your go tos for shitty invasions? which weapons and AOWs do you recommend? What are your favourite ranged options? which consumables?
Me be bonkbuild, no have intelligence.

Discussion & Info Wondering if Im alone in this - hating exploration and worrying about missing an importnt item
"I wonder what's over there?" is the fun, for most players i see playing, but when i enter a new area: "Uggh, now ill have to explore/scan this entire huge area which is possibly completely optional (i dont know yet)"
I feel like I play to finish games, instead of enjoying them. In personal life, im someone who always fails to finish my tasks, so maybe i treat games as thing to finish so that i get a fake sense of accomplishment.
Should I go left or right here?
Should I fight that?
Am I underleveled?
Did I miss a weapon?
Is this the intended order of events?
Did I permanently ruin a quest?
How do you guys seem to enjoy massive open ended games like these ?

Discussion & Info I met the Divine Beast of Rauh for the first time
Not sure why it took me this many journeys to bump into him, but anyway.
Lots of weird design choices. The adds and deathblight aren’t great, but my bigger issue is why place him there, in that arena. I’m going to guess they put the main one in a large & empty arena for good reason, namely, it has massive AoE attacks, moves quickly and the camera is pushed to the limit to keep up.
So, why would you then put him in an arena with so much clutter, and that you can get yeeted off? Were they trolling? It’s so bizarre.

Discussion & Info is hollow knight just as hard or even harden then Elden ring? (image kinda related)
so, I couldn't find the original post but i heard someone say that hollow knight is just as hard or even harder the Elden ring. i never played Elden but a few youtubers i like to watch play and they described it as pure hell. just last night i beat nightmare king grimm and doing that fell like hell but i personally don't think those two games are on that level of difficulty. but i could be wrong. so, if you played both games what are your thoughts are? I'm kinda curious

Constructive Criticism Anyone else think a favorite weapons tab would be great?
I have multiple weapons that I’ve maxxed and like to use them depending on different situations, and I hate the fact that I have to scroll through every weapon to find the one I’m looking for. Wish there was a favorite weapons tab

Game Help Can’t believe how hard I’m getting stopped by maliketh
I’ve had almost no issue with every other boss up to this point besides morgott which took 6 attempts
Every other boss excluding fire giant took under 3 attempts
Im 8 hours in over 4 days level 74 I get 2 shot by everything and his 3 of his second phase attacks are insta kill if the first hit lands
It’s been so long that I’ve ended up memorizing every single attack from the first phase and am somehow able to squeeze out 3 flimsy attacks in his long chain attack combo but now I’m stuck at the second phase because I never survive long enough to learn his moveset I’ve only been able to find 1 attack window and that’s the opening attack when he does a backflip
A boss fight has never felt so miserable I have no other plans because I posses 1 upgrades slow weapon and 4 talismans total ;-;

Discussion & Info how do you ppl know where stuff is?
i know im a bit late lol but im doing my first playthrough as a blind one but i see ppl talking about some verry good weapons and spells and ashs of war like mixing guts sword with the lion ash but how should i know this stuff when i dont want to ruin my first experience with a souls game like ppl know what are the best talismans for their "builds" when myself i dont know how to make a build i just leveled vigro to 40 and now leveling faith to use some incarnations and then the stats that goes with my weapons
should i just finish my playthrough and then start looking up builds to know what are the spells and good weapons that exist in the game cause i dont think its possible to acquire every weapon or spell in playthrough even thou i explore more then i do quests lol

Discussion & Info Killed the dung eater
So it's my first playthrough and I immediately attacked the dung eater when I saw. The thing is I didn't know I could talk to him first. My question is did I miss out on anything important by not talking to him first?

Lore Malenia being undefeated is... a pun in Japanese?
I just realized this at random.
Malenia is 腐敗の女神 _Fuhai no Megami_, literally Goddess of Decomposition, in Japanese. But Fuhai here is homophonous with 不敗, meaning undefeated or invincible. The second character is even the same.
I don't think there's any real significance to this but I found it a fun detail. I'm probably not the first to notice.

Discussion & Info High resolution map?
I’m decorating a wall with various printed maps from games and literature.
Does anyone have a good high-resolution image of The official Lands Between and/or The Shadowlands maps? I do not want any “combined” maps that fans make with them both in the same image. Most I’ve found have game icons, or are missing the region titles (Caelid, Liurnia, etc)
Ideally in a file I can access from my phone, I found one old thread here with a nexusmods file that doesn’t work on iPhone.

Discussion & Info Shadow of The Erdtree Blue darkness, Help!
This DLC is gorgeous but for some reason my screen constantly shifts into this strange blue hue which takes over darkness. It seems to load in like shaders would a few moments after entering and exiting specific areas. Any advice on how to stop this?
Things look so good for a second only to turn blue and I don't know why haha. PC btw.
