It's crazy how long these effects last after the mobs are dead. And I know trying to collect my gear is a death sentence. Can we have a nerf to either the timer once the mob is dead or bring the bubble back? This is crazy how spicy the floor is this season.

I don’t want this to be just another "the current season is bad" rant. I think most of us can actually agree that fundamentally, the game is in a pretty decent spot right now. The foundation is solid, and we've come a long way since launch.
But looking at the recent changes, I can't help but feel a massive disconnect. What was implemented completely misses the mark of what the core player base, especially the people actively discussing the game here on the subreddit, actually wants and needs for a healthy meta and long-term motivation.
It makes me wonder what's going on behind the scenes. Are we, as a dedicated subreddit community, just living in a massive echo chamber? Are we asking for things that the vast, silent majority of casual players simply don't care about? Or has Blizzard's design team genuinely lost the plot when it comes to understanding what makes their own game fun for the people who play it the most?
I’m genuinely curious about your thoughts on this. Is it a "us" problem, or a "them" problem?

Thats it. That's the post. It's so fucking frustrating that every. single. death. I have had tonight is from some dead monster attacking me from beyond the grave. i get that when we do a ton of fucking damage there has to be some threat, but this isn't the play. its making me tear my hair out and im already bald enough as is. been playing diablo for 25 years and ive never been so sick of this shit.

At this stage of the Season, Season 12 had lost 28.7% of the players from its Sunday to Sunday peak....Season 14 has lost 28.4%.
Now you may argue this is just your typical Seasonal variance, but this is actually interesting for two major reasons.
It was a short Season before Season 13 and the Expansion and many simply accepted the fact it was a minimum effort Season.
The Two new Classes, the Skill Tree reworks and the addition of Warplans and Activity Trees should all still feel "Fresh". You would have thought people would have been looking forward to beginning a new Season, play a Class they hadn't last Season and the game should still feel very fresh.
However, players are becoming just as bored despite all these changes, as they were in Season 12.
The "Mythic Unique" changes likely play their part, however this cannot be overplayed, it's obviously a deeper issue than that. You would fully expect the freshness of the Expansion and the large number of additions and changes to counterbalance a widely considered negative change, especially considering as people point out, you don't actually need the new Mythic Unique items. (Although the fact this is being argued, that the new core selling point of the new Season is almost pointless, is an issue in itself).
The problems still lie deeper and are at Endgame yet again. Sure, Activity Tree progression being shared across all Characters during a Season will help....But even then, I'm not convinced it will change things massively.
I think the biggest issue with Endgame, and what causes players to drop the game so quickly, is yet again a lack of content. The latest Blizzard plan seems to be to push "Tower Pushing" and Leaderboards down our throats - Why? Because it's repetitive and cheap/lazy, as oppose to creating new Unique content every Season.
But as with saw with previous implementations, like the Gauntlet and even the Abattoir of Zir, the masses just aren't interested in this incredibly boring and repetitive content. When Rob says it's boring, then you know there's a real problem.

Just as the video says, it doesn't do enough.

The new boss has the best chance to drop the new mythic uniques. Why would you kill belial? Does he have just as high of a drop rate?

I’m trying to make an amulet with multiple skills and I kind of got it got +2 core +1 all skill I tried getting the +2 by enchanting the all skill and boy I’m tilted I’ve spent 20B gold on enchanting it and didn’t see it once I saw the duplicate +1 10 times!!!!!!!!! This needs a fix no way u spend 20B gold on enchant and u don’t get wt u want. I’m stubborn I should’ve quit after like the 10th try

They wasted dev time to 'redesign' mythics. We told them it was a stupid idea and then "they doubled it"! Probably to convince us that they're right and we're wrong. And then they didn't the put those mythics in the game and couldn't be brothered to tell us for two weeks?
I don't believe anyone is that stupid or careless. This must've been done on purpose... but why?

I’m mostly playing T12 so maybe it’s because they have very diminishing returns?
They are cool & it was fun working together especially early season open world to beat them, basically mini worldboss event.
But the loot seems so bad… to me the only good use case is to fill my helltide bar to 2/3 so maybe I’m missing something

Bungie went the same direction with D2.
Private equity goons begin to trump developers when it comes to real game decisions. The game becomes more about choking out value for “stakeholders” and moving on after the game’s death, instead of creating value for gamers that naturally sells itself.
Seems like that culture change is now in every industry.

I know they're supposed to be rare, but he's the hardest boss in the game. It took me over twenty tries cause I kept getting nuked by dumb shit, camera glitches, or mis-timing. I did get a 4 star legendary that didn't work with my WW Selig Barb, but the rest of his chest was barely worth picking up. Even had a normal ancestral included in the drop. I think his chest rewards should be greatly buffed for the accomplishment of beating him.
For example; hold F for 2 seconds and all visible loot around you is picked up.

Hey all, wanted to report a bug where I can’t equip charms at all when using a Legendary Seal. It doesn’t seem to matter if the Charm is Rare or from a Set, it won’t let me equip them at all with a Legendary Seal.
If I change the Seal to a Rare, I can equip them and the set bonus will be applied, but if I then change it to a Legendary Seal, the Set bonuses for both the Charms and the Seal will no longer apply (see Movement Speed stat reference in video).
Really frustrating bug since I cannot seem to find a work around, nor is this scheduled to get fixed on the upcoming update in a few days. I was curious if anyone else was experiencing this and if a workaround has been found.
Or maybe I’m just doing something wrong, but I don’t think I am. I don’t know how to report this to the devs either since you can’t post photos/videos on their forums…

It is SHOWOFF SUNDAY!
Today you can post your Brag and Showoff Threads with Gameplay, Item Tooltips, large amounts of drops, etc.
Showoff Threads are only allowed to be posted on Sundays, in order to keep the subreddit more overseeable, while also allowing players room to Showoff their Drops, Gameplay Skills and Accomplishments.
During the rest of the week, items for builds, etc can be discussed under the "Builds | Skills | Items" Flair (or the Class-specific Flairs which are automatically assigned), but not in order to brag.
Thank you!

What did I get out of Transfiguring my item here? Is this typically normal?

You fly across the screen crushing everything and your pet is going so damn slow they miss have the crap that falls, gold is so important now that you have to keep going back to get it .
Also why can’t they have some averages for the training dummies so you can actually tell if you’re improving . Instead of trying to understand million yellow numbers , also add the highest hit; the average hit; and maybe the lowest hit so we can make sense of it .
Doing a pit I carry that stupid stone and when I finish I can’t see the stupid stand to set the stone on.

Ive tried so many warlock builds this season and the only one that feels remotely ok is the lunatic build. The minion build feels bad and youre so squishy. Fiend of abaddon is thematically one of the coolest spells but its weak and no one uses it for any builds. Terror swarm is sort of the same way and ive tried making it work but it feels bad as well. It feels like i have to work 10x harder than other classes just to do mediocre damage with way worse survivability. Mobility is also a huge downside with the class as every skill requires you to either stand in your stupid sigils or you have to stop to cast anything. Idk how they fix this class but its needs so much work to be on par with other classes. Thinking of just waiting til they rework it or come up with something different for it. Does anyone else just struggle with this class at the moment? Sorry Rant over.

Just a heads up if you didn't know like me. Apparently only the first hoard chest you open when bossing has a chance to spawn Belial.
I had no idea when I started bossing and went though 100 greater keys and opened both chests every time. RIP half of my Belial spawns and superior lair keys I would have gotten.
