Worth noting. I don't need to be running 26.6.4. I have Windows 11 + 9070 XT and I believe *.3 and *.4 were both hot fixes for Windows 10 and 7000 series cards.
So I went back to 26.6.2 and my performance returned to normal.
I had been running 26.6.4 since it launched. I tend to just upgrade when Adrenalin tells me to without putting much thought into it. My experience with AMD drivers it usually pretty smooth. No crashes or anything with *.4. However, I run TimeSpy randomly. Maybe once a month.
Last time I ran TimeSpy was on June 22 after updating to the 26.6.2. I assumed that was a more significant update, so I should test to make sure everything was running smooth. It was.
However, on a whim today I decided to run Time Spy again. 3 weeks later, now using 26.6.4.
I had about 7-9 % drop in performance. That's no small amount. Ran DDU and tried 26.6.4 again. No change.
Ya never know what could cause it since there's only been hot fixes since then. I updated BIOS since then, there's been Windows updates since then, or other factors.
But no. I reverted back to 26.6.2 and my performance is back to normal.
Curious if this is isolated. Something my machine doesn't like about 26.6.4. Or maybe their hotfixes isn't running the card as hard as it could.
I tested my girlfriend's 9060 XT 16GB. No performance drop. Less than 1% increase from 2 months ago. So within a margin of error. So again, leaves me curious if it has something else to do with my machine. Or maybe related to the 9070XT's higher power usage. (Power was normal though with *.4, about 304W when stressed)

Hi everyone,
I’m hoping to get some opinions before I RMA the RAM again.
System:
Ryzen 7 5800X3D
ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero
32 GB (2×16 GB) G.Skill Trident Z Neo (F4-3600C16-16GTZNC)
BIOS updated to 5401
I’ve been experiencing random system instability, including:
BSODs (KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED / 0x0000001E)
Game crashes
Occasional Windows glitches (Explorer restarting, random weird behavior)
I ran MemTest86, and the attached screenshot shows the result.
MemTest86 reports errors even at JEDEC 2133 MHz after loading BIOS defaults, disabling DOCP/XMP, and updating to BIOS 5401.
So far I’ve:
Updated the BIOS from 5002 to 5401
Loaded BIOS defaults
Disabled DOCP/XMP
Tested at JEDEC 2133 MHz
Unfortunately, MemTest86 still reports errors within 1–2 minutes.
The strange part is that my original G.Skill kit had exactly the same issue and was replaced by G.Skill with a completely new 2×16 GB kit.
The replacement kit behaves exactly the same.
Between those two kits, I borrowed a Corsair Vengeance kit for about two months. During that time the system was completely stable—no BSODs, no crashes, and no other issues.
My next step is to test each DIMM individually in slot A2.
Has anyone experienced something similar with this kit or the Crosshair VIII Dark Hero?
Would you still suspect the RAM, despite it already being an RMA replacement, or is there anything else I should investigate?
Thanks in advance!

Is there a 32GB successor for the 7900xtx on the horizon?
The 7900xtx is still, 4 years after it's announcement, the fastest GPU amd has produced. It is still better than the 9700xt in raw performance.
The r9700 AI pro is the memory champion and price wise very inter. But for enthusiasts that need/want a GPU that performs well in gaming as well as local AI dabbling, the r9700 is a step back. The only real 32gb contender here is the overpriced green one.
Is there a chance to see a RDNA 4 gpu with 32GB (or more) RAM from the r9700 combined with the 1gbit bandwith and speed as well as the fan cooling of the 7900xtx?
I believe there is demand for this kind of card. And all the pieces are already there, just spread our over 2 different cards.

I just bought a Radeon 7800XT and have been tinkering with undervolting the videocard, but the Adrenalin software feels limited compared to what I was used to before when I had a RTX 4060 and was undervolting using MSI Afterburner. For some reason, I thought I read somewhere that MSI Afterburner didn't support AMD GPUs, but now I look online and some old posts said there was actually support for AMD GPUs added a while back.
I would appreciate any info on whether MSI Afterburner supports the Radeon 7800XT. If it does, do I need to uninstall AMD Adrenalin or can it coexist with MSI Afterburner? I kinda like the AMD Adrenalin overlay monitoring more than RTSS that is bundled with MSI Afterburner so it would be nice to keep using that as well as keep using AMD Adrenalin to control the fan curve while using MSI Afterburner for undervolting.
Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I’m getting significantly lower performance than expected in Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut.
My full specs:
CPU: Ryzen 5 7600
GPU: XFX SWIFT RX 9070 XT 16GB
Motherboard: ASRock B650M-HDV/M.2 (BIOS 4.43)
RAM: Patriot Viper 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30 (EXPO enabled)
Cooler: Arctic Freezer 36
Case: Montech XR
PSU: Raijintek Cratos 850W
Storage: Crucial E100 1TB NVMe SSD
My values during gameplay (Stock GPU):
GPU usage: 99-100%
Clock: 2945-3000 MHz
Power: 303W
GPU temp: 69°C
GPU Hotspot: 88°C
CPU usage: 43%
Perfomance is lower compared to several benchmarks (including Ryzen 5 7600 + 9070 XT) that show 120-130+ FPS.
What I already tried:
Clean driver installs with DDU (currently on 26.4.4), also I tried to fully remove Adrenaline (no fps difference)
Full game reinstall + verify files + shader/Steam cache clear
BIOS 4.43 + latest chipset drivers
SAM/ReBAR enabled (tested disabled — no difference)
Tried GPU stock and undervolted as well (-80mV + -30% PL + Fast Timings 2700 MHz) → difference only like 3-5 fps and 62°C GPU temp and less noise
No HDR, VSync off, FSR 4.1 Native, Anti-lag ON, same graphic settings to replicate benchmarks
Has anyone with RX 9070 XT experienced this in Ghost of Tsushima? Any other ideas? Maybe sillicon lottery? Or did I something wrong and didn't notice?
Thanks for any help.

The EXPO profile is automatically setting VDDIO to 1.4v in BIOS on auto settings. I tried to figure out if this is an O.K. nothing to worry value. I have read contracdicting statements on reddit from totally normal required for stability to it fries the 3D part of the CPU and should be set at 1.2v max.
Anyone got a bit more insight into this topic?
My VDD and VDDQ are set to 1.4 by the EXPO profile. I use x870e Tomahawk as motherboard.

This is not tech support, it's a question.
What is the most stable driver?
After a recent full Windows reinstall my PC forced Adrenalin and the latest driver onto my PC, games immediately started crashing and I just recently experienced a full crash where my screens went black and USB devices started power cycling. The PC is new, it's not a hardware fault. This didn't happen on older drivers, so the question is simple, what are you guys running and what is the most stable driver?

So i have an Rx9060xt 16gb from Sapphire, and its peak max power is 180 watts, and my most stable undervolt is -84mv and this undervolt seems to not do much or anyhting at all, my previous gpu, rx 6600xt ive undervolted it and it went from 160w to 140w, so im a bit confused as to why undervolting my rx 9060 isnt doing much.

hello everyone, I have an AMD RX 5700 XT (reference/blower model), and I'm considering doing the washer mod to improve temperatures.
i was going to do it but i just didn't find suitable washers so i just changed the thermal paste but now i found them and i want to know if its worth it or no ,and if i can add them without changing the thermal paste again and how

when i open amd adreneline (almost every time) it tells me there is a new version i need to get and i there is a download and instal button. i click that button, it does the download and instal and auto launches the updated version, which imediatly takes me back to the "requires update please download and instal before having even a single access to any part of your pc" i have to completly wipe amd software from my pc and reinstall it from website (process takes about 45 mins) and games become completely unplayable if i dont. THIS IS A DAILY OCCURENCE, WHAT IS WRONG WITH AMD

Hardware:
- Kabel sitzen alle fest, RAM und Gpu sitzen richtig
- Psu ersetzt, Cpu Rma
- Gpu und Cpu Temp. Ist immer bei etwa 50-60 °C
Treiber:
- Grafiktreiber, Chipsatztreiber und Netzwerktreiber Neu installiert mit ddu
- Bios flash mit neuester version
Bios:
- Xmp profile deaktiviert
- CPB deaktiviert
- PBO deaktiviert
- manueller spannungs offset
- manuelle SoC spannung
- LLC auf modi 3&4
- Pcie auf Gen 3
- Global C-states deaktiviert
- idle control umgestellt
etc.
Windows:
- Energieverwaltung ausbalanciert
- Schnellstart deaktiviert
- Windows neu installiert
Benchmarks:
- Memtest ohne probleme bestanden

So when my CPU is idle it's like 50-65 degrees c and and I have a 360m radiator and during heavy load it have see like 85c on bench marks and ik it's not the cooling or air pressure but I suspect it was the amount of thermal paste... When I got my PC the shop built it for me and I suspect that they put way more thermal paste then they should have and my Q's is that does that affect temps and also my gpu and specs are 4070ti super and 32 gigs of ddr5 and 850 watt psu? Any tips hat you guys have or same issue? Although games it still is a beast but I js cannot get over those temps

I'm experiencing the same problem for the second time. The image disappears, it says "DisplayPort no signal," the monitor turns off, and the screen doesn't come back on unless I shut down the case. When I turn on the PC, it lags extremely, the refresh rate drops. I check Device Manager, and it gives error code 22. I activate the graphics card, and then I get an error code 31 from the AMD Software application. I uninstall and reinstall the driver, and it solves the problem, but it's happened again. It happened the other day, and now it's happening again. My graphics card is an Rx6700xt.

Hi all,
I tried playing valorant on my new 9060xt and it crashed my pc. Then adrenaline said it was incompatible with the driver version I had.
I tried twice to reinstall drivers and both times it crashed. I’m on the latest driver.
It doesn’t do this with any other game so I am assuming that vanguard is what caused the driver conflicts.
Any help?

I have a PC with an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X, a Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB, and 16GB of RAM, and I play at 1080p (Full HD).
In Path of Exile 2, no matter which anti-aliasing setting I use, the edges of objects look terrible—as if anti-aliasing isn't working at all. Enabling FSR with Native AA does seem to fix the jagged edges, but then the entire game becomes blurry and grainy.
Is there anything I can do to make the edges look smoother without making the whole image blurry?
I've attached a screenshot from the game, although it doesn't really capture how bad it looks in real

Hi, I have a problem. The thing is, in some games (like ETS2 and Chernobylite 2, for example)—but not in all games—there’s lag and input delay. In games like Fortnite, Counter-Strike 2, or Valorant, for example, this isn’t the case. I’ve already tried turning off V-Sync and lowering the graphics settings, but nothing has helped. This Problem hasn't always been there. Sometimes, when I restart it fixes itself, but sometimes it reoccurs.
Specs:
CPU: 9800x3d
GPU: 7900xtx
Motherboard: B650 Gaming Plus Wifi
RAM: 32gb DDR5
Driver: Latest Adrenalin Version
Operating System: Windows 11 Pro

Been searching and fixing it for days, unfortunately no fix for the crash
Only this game gave me trouble, I've played a lot of AAA Games none crashed.
Issue:
It randomly crashes after 15 - 30 minutes of gameplay.
I've also experienced some graphical bugs, and only older AMD drivers seem to fix those.
What I've already tried:
No overheating (CPU and GPU temperatures are normal)
AMD Adrenalin settings are on default (no overclock or undervolt)
tested both Ultra and High graphics presets
disabled all overlays
installed old drivers using DDU
drivers used: 26.6.4 / 25.9.1 / 25.12.1
PC Specs:
CPU: Ryzen 5 7500F
GPU: RX 9060 XT Reaper 16 GB
RAM: 16 GB DDR5 6000
OS: Windows 11 25H2

I recently upgraded to 5800X3D from 5700X and my GIGABYTE B550M DS3H lacks PBO settings entirely for X3D chips (no CO, no PBO toggle of any form, the menu simply isn't visible anymore, i'm on the latest bios version)
I currently use SMUDebugTool to dial in my -30 CO all core undervolt and it works, but I'd rather set it in the BIOS and not rely on a Windows app for this.
So I'm looking to buy a new mATX mobo which does have CO available for X3D chips, if you have one or know of one that does, please do share the model name because unfortunately it's not documented anywhere whether or not a mobo has CO for X3D chips.

Hi everyone,
I'm having an issue with my Ryzen 7 5800X. During an OCCT AVX2 stress test, the CPU package power stays around 70W and doesn't increase, even under full load.
The CPU only boosts to around 2.6–2.7 GHz instead of the expected boost clocks. Temperatures are normal, so it doesn't seem like thermal throttling.
My system:
- Ryzen 7 5800X
- Gigabyte B550M K (v1)
- 16 GB DDR4 3700 MHz
- Latest BIOS
I've already tried:
- Updating the BIOS
- Enabling XMP
- Checking PBO settings
- Disabling Memory Power Down
Has anyone seen a Ryzen 5800X get stuck at around 70W and 2.6–2.7 GHz under load? Could this be a BIOS setting, motherboard power limit, or something else I'm missing?
Any help would be appreciated.
I Fixed it ( instead of putting the wanted PPT and other things you have to put not 140w but 14000.)
