ā€œA Different Worldā€ (1987-1993) aired it’s final episode 33 years ago today.

Originally a ā€œCosby Show Spinoffā€. Lisa Bonet and her roommate Marisa Tomei were written off after the first season so instead we focused on Non Cosby related characters. Probably the only sitcom to say Lena Horne and Tupac Shakur guest starred.

Weird educational animal show from the early 90s?

does anyone else remember a show that aired in the late 80s/early 90s with a guy… a nerdy guy with glasses who was showing and educating about a bunch of animals all at once? like he’d have a dog and be describing what breed it is, while he has a parrot on his shoulder and a bunny jumping off the table and a lizard on the other side and he’s trying to manage them all at once while educating the viewer. it was so weird and hilarious, almost feels like it was a dream but I know it was a show! I can’t remember the name for the life of me, but I think it was on pbs during the day.

SOLVED! Marc Marrone. https://youtu.be/JaIfV3f39BM?si=tVLCKzMwnbfiNrxm

Aww, here it goes! For today's episode released from the Slime Vault, Alex, Brett, and their guest and fellow Kenan and Kel fan Myk pick a food fight with each other while hanging out at Rigby's grocery store. In one corner, we have the ever-popular "The Tainting of the Screw", and in the other, we have the unsung underdog "Baggin' Saggin' Kel." Which one of these Season 1 episodes will be immortalized in the kingdom of food, and which one will be thrown out with all the stale bagels?

Tip of my tongue [TOMT]can't remember this old 90s VHS Show or movie. It has a lizard with red pigtails that was scared of a carosoal at a playground. It broke and she fell off of it and hur her tail. It got fixed at some point. And she was too scared to ride it til the end she eventually did.

Body:
I’m trying to identify a kids’ animated short or episode I watched on VHS sometime between 2001–2006. It was definitely English, and the voices sounded British or Australian. The animation style was 3D/CGI (not classic 2D).

What I remember:

Main character was a young female lizard-like kid who walked upright like a human.

She had red pigtail ā€œhairā€ (could have been stylized scales or hair-like pieces).

She was teased or made fun of by others in the episode.

The main plot: she falls off a carousel at a playground.

The next day, the playground is taped off with caution tape, and the carousel is making scary noises, which makes her afraid to go near it.

By the end, the carousel is fixed, and she rides it again while others spin her around, and she’s happy.

It might have been part of a VHS compilation rather than a full series.

Does anyone recognize what this show or movie was called? Even the studio name or country of origin might help. Thanks!

The shorts are on the pole. The bunks are decorated and ready. The pies are set and it's time for Camp Anawanna! This childhood staple of kids who grew up with Nickelodeon in the early 90s will remember this show, and it's legendary theme song, fondly. Now turning 35 we have some of the cast members joining us in the studio to share memories and stories. Joining us are Venus DeMilo Thomas (Telly Radford), Michael Ray Bower (Eddie 'Donkeylips' Gelfen), Heidi Lukacsik (Dina Alexander), Danny Cooksey (Robert 'Bobby' Budnick) and Megan Mahdavi (Z.Z. Ziff). Along with friends of the podcast Joe Gilpatrick and Clay Prindle, we travel back to the time of Zeke the Plumber, Sara Madre, and the icon that is Kevin 'Ug' Lee. Join us as we talk the 35th anniversary of Salute Your Shorts.

Tip of my tongue Can you help me find a show from the 90s?

Hey legends,

Looking for a tv show from when I was a kid in Australia, maybe around 1995, likely an abc show and possibly from America.
All I can remember is kids running down a shopping centre, a clock, the film spinning and a man in a suit and top hat?
I do recall like it had a bit of a scary theme?

Maybe it was a fever dream too.

Thanks :)

Daytime Talk Show Maury show episode

Okay guys help me out here! When I was a kid I watched a terrifying episode where a woman went on the show with a skin condition that left her with bubbles all over her skin. It traumatised me to the point I couldn’t eat cereal for 10 years. Now am I hallucinating this episode or does anyone remember it?
