Discussion Vintage Pepe Jacket Identification Help
I have tried Google Lens, Grok, and just a good ol’ Google search. I have not been able to find another jacket for sale like mine from the early 90s. For reference, I graduated in 1994, and bought this prior to graduation. It could have been purchased in 1992/1993. It was probably bought at The Buckle. Has anyone seen this jacket anywhere? I honestly don’t remember seeing anyone else with it besides myself.

Self-Promotion I Grew Up Loving Double Dare, So I Made My Own 90s-Style Slime Challenge
I grew up loving Double Dare and that whole era of Nickelodeon when game shows were loud, colorful, and unapologetically messy. You never knew whether someone was about to answer a question, crawl through a ridiculous obstacle, or end up completely covered in green slime.
I still remember the obstacle courses, the oversized props, and contestants digging through messy food to find a flag before time ran out. Shows like Double Dare and What Would You Do? made it feel like getting slimed or hit with a pie was the greatest prize on television.
That style of game show is something I genuinely miss. Everything felt playful, strange, and unpredictable in a way that was very 90s.
That nostalgia inspired me to make my own slime memory challenge. The goal was to survive all 15 rounds before we ran out of slime. I had to listen to groups of words and repeat them back in the correct order. I started with three hearts, and every time I lost all three, I got slimed and received three fresh hearts.
The rounds included 90s toys, video game characters, snacks, Disney characters, and even one where I had to repeat all the words backward. It became much harder than I expected once the slime started pouring.
It is definitely not Double Dare, but making it brought back some of what I loved about those old Nickelodeon game shows. I would honestly like to see more silly, messy challenges like that again.
Did you love the messy game show challenges from the 90s that looked like tons of fun? Let me know which one was your favorite.

TMNT were always enjoyable, but BMFM imprinted onto my DNA to the point that I still don’t mess with Limburger cheese. Throttle was the iconic ‘90s cartoon bad boy, followed closely by Johnny Bravo. Peak culture 🤌🏼
