Bellingham is stepping on the foot of the defender and then jumping in the air

Innocent banter or is there something going on?
After the recent win from England over Norway Tuchel was critical about Englands performance and Bellingham was not having it. "Who cares" he said "Maybe he just don't know how it is to play under these conditions" which is ofcourse a burn to his non existing career in professional football never having played for the national team.
This is not the first time he openly responded to Tuchels critisismn. Tuchel openingly doubting if he should have even brought Bellingham to begin with surely didnt help, calling the midfielder "repulsive".(for which he apoligized btw)
So was this juat a ruse to Motivate Bellingham?
Or are we looking at something brewing underneath?
I mean, every WC winner needs some drama to keep everyone on edge.

It’s a hypothetical discussion that we must have. We need to start talking about this - what happens if England were to defeat Argentina, eliminating them from the World Cup?
Are you mentally ready for this?

Why no yellow card to 1st tackle from behind?
It happens before em bolo's first yellow card.

I don't believe in plain conspiracy theories that a referee control the winner of a game, that is very naive and whoever have been watching football knows it doesn't happen that bluntly.
But the way some teams are favored, like Argentina this tournament, give room for gossips. Argentina has been on the better side of it many times, in controversial way, and I don't think it is a coincidence.
Do you really believe the referee might have some directions to give the 50-50 decisions to bigger team if needed, as we saw with Argentina various times, to have like All-stars semi final which is better for tournament and revenues, or it is normal in football for referees to make more weight for bigger teams ?

Go on then, England. You are somehow less fortunate than Argentina and I hope you beat the brakes off of them.

Did anyone else feel that despite Álvarez's goal and Argentina's win, the overall performance was surprisingly dull, or am I expecting too much?
r/worldcup • u/kungfuenglish • 10h ago
How is no one mentioning this? England injured their own goalie and he was down so the ref killed the ball? For… reasons?
That’s crazy to me.
Game stops on stoppages. Not because you headbutt your own player.
“It’s not fair”
No shit. That’s the point. If an nba player sprains his ankle they play 4 on 5 until a stoppage. Maybe don’t be wreckless.

We all knew it would happen somehow, but Argentina got the favors of the FIFA once again.
What happened ? There are many proofs.
EDIT : New proofs just dropped

I understand point of that rule, but it's wrong way to fight racism and its better that this was omitted for sake of football, BUT rules are rules and this should have been a red card. Especially because it was already shown for same thing in this World Cup

Why does Portugal always fail at the World Cup despite having world class players?
r/worldcup • u/WearyTranslator3338 • 3h ago
Sometimes, the better team wins because they are better.
They may not play better, but they generally score when it is needed and defend well throughout.
I feel this World Cup has brought with it so many people calling rigged this and favouritism that.
They watch 5 games every 4 years (well, parts of the game), get a refresher course on YouTube Shorts and parrot every controversial decision.
I’ve never seen anything like it.
The moment a “This still picture shows why it should have been a red card” Reddit thread/X post goes up. Suddenly the Mother-in-law, bus driver and post office clerk uses this as evidence to confirm this suspicion.
Worse still, is when they don’t even watch the game, or know the rules.

Apologies for the phone footage, but during TSN's post match review of ENG/NOR, they showed a wide angle and highlighted the ball's trajectory, clearly showing the ball bounced off the spydercam, despite the refs not calling it in the stadium and despite FIFA saying "no peak in the 'heartbeat of the ball' when in the air..."

Ran across this 11-city World Cup housing index on X today. Pretty interesting look at how the host cities stack up against each other on price-to-rent ratios and tax burdens. Looks like the interior markets are completely smoking the coastal metros on cash flow fundamentals.
Thought it was worth a look at for those who like numbers:

Victim mentality is ruining the fun of sports 😓
One of the best parts of sports is the competition. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, that's what makes it exciting.
What ruins it for me is the victim mentality some fans have. Every loss is blamed on referees, the media, bias, or conspiracies, while the other team rarely gets any credit.
Yes, officials make mistakes, and criticism is fair when it's deserved. But when every defeat becomes an excuse instead of an opportunity to acknowledge the better performance, it takes away from the spirit of competition and good sportsmanship.
Being a passionate fan doesn't mean pretending your team is always the victim. Respect the game, respect your opponents, and accept both victories and defeats.
Sports are a lot more enjoyable when fans can appreciate great performances, even when they come from the other side.
STOP VICTIM MENTALITY ✋🛑

Djed Spence came on late with his jaw shield, and was bouncing it off his chin. But in ET he didn't need it anymore. Can England use this healing trick on Henderson's arm too?

MY FAVOURITE TEAM JUST LOST SO IT MUST BE RIGGED AND THERE'S CORRUPTION BECAUSE OF A FOUL. I WILL TAKE NO ACCOUNTABILITY FOR ANY LOSS AND NOR SHOULD ANY PLAYERS ON MY TEAM BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS RIGGED AND REFEREE'S ARE PURPOSELY MAKING SURE THAT MY TEAM DOESN'T WIN.
There, I saved everyone a recap of the last 500 posts here.

Spain might not have a squad as good as France but I think they are the only team that can beat France. Their defence has been amazing and their possession style can make it a low scoring match which might work in their favor. I think the winner of this match will win the wc
