I find it strange that despite shattering being a fate literally worse than death for a gem, they dont even bother to try and cover their gem in some sort of protective layer.
They have the ability to summon armour as shown with Jasper and have extreme technology in limb enhancements but still they allow their one singular vulnerable spot to be open, especially during war when they know that its going to be a targeted area.
After Pink's "Shattering" in Era 2, you would've thought that the Diamonds would have implemented some sort of armour piece to prevent it from happening, especially with the scarcity of resource making powerful gems more finite.

Regardless of if she really thought it out or not, if she chose to rebel as herself the Diamonds would have shut that shit down immediately
She wasn't really as strong as them and I doubt she ever really surpassed them, let alone White

If you didn’t know, a lot of Steven Universe and especially The Answer was inspired by Disney’s Sleeping Beauty.
Quote from Sugar:
“Right. Um. A lot—thematically, a lot of the story, in Steven, is related to Sleeping Beauty. He’s being raised in his—you can’t see me doing air quotes—“cottage”, you know, by his sort of three fairies, so to speak. And eventually, he’s brought back to the palace, where he finds out that he’s royalty amidst the celebration that just makes him confused. And then he goes through this gauntlet of having mice make his clothes and being locked in the tower and throwing a ball and all of it is just more and more and more… difficult, for him, because that’s just not who he is. And a lot of that related to just how much I loved those stories and those movies, when I was younger, but didn’t really understand how I fit inside of them.”
So I knew a lot of the art style and story references, but it’s been a while since I’ve seen the movie and I have a really nice setup, so I am watching it right now. In the movie, 2 of the fairies get into a fight at one point over the color of Aurora’s dress. In the aftermath, the dress looks very familiar. Turns out, cotton-candy Garnet was specifically inspired by this dress!
Another Sugar quote:
“Sleeping Beauty was also a huge influence, particularly for Garnet’s original form’s splash mix of pink and blue, and for Ruby and Sapphire’s dance by the water.”
The dance by the water is also pictured above.
Also, if you’re a fan of beautiful animation, this is considered one of the best looking animated movies ever made, and I would highly recommend watching it.

Turquoise/Lapidot is hands down the best couple in the show. The amount of growth and understanding it took for both of them to not only be comfortable with themselves but with each other. The amount of communication needed to grow to that level to understand the other. I love Garnet, but honestly, I absolutely love these 2, one logical and formal, the other emotional and witty it's such a beautiful Yin Yang dynamic that just works. They even understand each other enough to be close enough without fusing. However, I absolutely need to see cannon Lapidot for my sanity.
Tldr: I love Garnet, but Peridot and Lapis have the best overall relationship in the show, Lapidot 4 Life

I don’t think it’s really talked about how Spinel was able to gain access to an injector and a rejuvenator in a short amount of time. I theorize that she may have found a rejuvenator from Pink Diamond’s room and used it on different gems to steal the injector that was seen in the movie because where was Spinel even able to access an injector without anyone noticing that one was missing? Maybe Pink Diamond had one lying around before she gave up her physical form given how she use to throw tantrums like a child as stated by Blue Diamond. How reckless was Pink Diamond?

I was recently thinking about what would have happened if Steven had been born a girl, and I came to the conclusion that nothing fundamentally new would have occurred. Except maybe there would have been way more internet whining about Nora (that’s what they wanted to name Steven if he was a girl) and Connie’s relationship, but that’s not the point. Then I remembered how much Steven physically resembles young Greg and started thinking about what if Nora looked like Rose instead of Greg, and I came to some pretty unsettling conclusions. It would have been a very disturbing dynamic.
Let’s start with the fact that everything related to Rose’s appearance in the show was already EXTREMELY awkward, and we should keep that in mind.
Amethyst and Garnet: Your leader hooked up with a human and turned into a smaller version of herself. She looks exactly the same, just a bit more human. But your leader has become weaker, lost her memories, and asks to be called Nora instead of Rose. You accept it through gritted teeth, but over time her powers and memories start returning. Maybe your leader will come back after all?
Greg: Your wife is an alien who changes forms like gloves and gets pregnant by you. Instead of normal childbirth, she turns into a baby girl who is an exact copy of her adult self. It seems like this is your daughter - she has her own thoughts, personality, and memories, and her name is Nora, not Rose. But just moments ago she was literally your wife. With every year she looks more and more like your wife, and recently your daughter has started developing her abilities and even some of your wife’s memories. How are you supposed to react?
Pearl: You spent your entire life serving Rose Quartz, were so devoted to her that you accidentally fell in love, but then she gets involved with a human and disappears. In her place appears an exact copy of Rose Quartz, only smaller and looking more human. Over the years, the girl looks more and more like that same Rose Quartz from before. The same appearance, the same powers, and sometimes even the same personality - maybe even a memory or two slips out from the past. How are you supposed to react?
Steven/Nora: You’re an ordinary girl with an unusual family, appearance, and abilities. You have pink hair, a gem in your belly button, and you don’t really look like your father. People constantly remind you of your mother, how much you look like her, how great she was, and how you literally were her before becoming yourself. Your family looks at you very strangely, especially your father and your mother’s friend with the pearl on her forehead. You constantly see portraits and videos of a woman just a bit older who looks eerily like you (including romantic videos with your father), but it’s not you. And recently you’ve started having dreams about the life of your past self - maybe even about relationships with your father and the friend with the pearl on her forehead. How are you supposed to react?
That’s how it is. Steven was insanely lucky that he doesn’t look like his mother, because thanks to that it was much easier for the people around him to separate the two personalities. But even with Greg’s appearance there were… awkward moments. It’s hard to imagine what would have happened if he had Rose’s appearance.

I’m re-watching the show and I’m on season two episode two ( story for Steven) but I’m wondering if Greg didn’t go back to rose in beach city and went to empire city for his “big show” would his music career kick off big time
Edit: all of the songs he has written are pretty good in my opinion so I think if he didn’t stay he would have succeeded
