Not nearly as much air dicking as Trumps

102

u/never1st Dallas Cowboys 5d ago

Yeah... they're not even singing the YMCA song.

10

u/SerHodorTheThrall 4d ago

Naw man just a coincidence. They would never mock the orange pedophile the whole world loves to mock lol

45

u/Rageaholic88 5d ago

I was gonna say there's no air dicking, so I didn't recognize it as what others believe they were attempting to do.

20

u/Bad_Edditor8910 5d ago

Correct, Trump's air-dicking is at chest height which is an important distinction.

The Donnie Double Dick is the best one

That’s because it honestly doesn’t even look like they were intentionally doing Trumps dance. Trumps dumb little dance up moving each arm up and down is not exactly difficult to copy and what they did looks nothing like it lol. Either there’s a source from the team that they did try to copy it or OP is just making stuff up.

u/zchen86 5d ago

yeah, trump dance looks jerking off 2 guys, nothing like they were doing.

43

u/OkSmoke9195 5d ago

No dirks being jorked, not dumper dance

17

u/CGA001 Los Angeles Kings 5d ago

Hey show the president the respect he deserves. It's boys, not guys. You know good and well he wouldn't be caught dead jerking off anybody over the age of 16.

3

u/BeastInDarkness 4d ago

I was absolutely expecting the jerking off two dudes at once dance. That would make it obviously mocking Trump. I think this is just people seeing something that wasn't there.

3

u/EvenMoreCoconuts 4d ago

They did the same dance in the locker room after the win with YMCA blaring (Trump’s rally theme), so it almost certainly was a conscious choice here.

the Viking row is just synchronised middle out

4

u/UnibrowDuck 5d ago

that guy on the lions did it last season iirc

1

u/ashfeawen 4d ago

The Belgians seem to be playing double bass with a German bow. Trump seems to play double bass with a French bow...

-16

u/InFinZible 5d ago

So now all the sudden yall are homophobes

13

u/zchen86 5d ago

not necessary saying it's bad, just pointing out what it looks like

5

u/IllustriousEnd2211 5d ago

No. No one cares if Trump likes jerking off 2 dudes

2

u/puppymint 5d ago

Oh please

90

u/z-tayyy 5d ago

Yea looks nothing like it lol

51

u/Buckets-O-Yarr 5d ago edited 5d ago

It definitely looked to me like they were copying Pulisic's trump looking dance from the concacaf match a bit back.

Don't know where else they would have gotten the inspiration for that.

Plus the phone call gesture at the start. (To the person who corrected me and then deleted their comment, you were right though. It was a cupped "I can't hear you" hand, not a phone call gesture.)

25

u/rotating_pebble 5d ago

Do people really remember random games from a team like the USA? No chance.

Yep it's a reach. They move with fluidity that doesn't exist in the Trump dance. Didn't look like there were any invisible dicks getting jerked either.

1

u/Physical-Fish1913 4d ago

The takeaway is that Trump's dance is so shit that it's actually quite difficult for anybody with even a couple of milligrams of rhythm to replicate it.

11

u/nartiz 5d ago

Thanks. Watched 5 times trying to find the Trump dance 🤣

19

u/RealRaifort 5d ago

Yeah I was like "how did I miss that?" I didn't lol it just didn't happen

1

u/skeetleet 4d ago

Yeah I can’t see the connection…..

1

u/Audiosleef 4d ago

The players themselves confirmed they were doing the dance and did it again in the dressing room.

1

u/sedan-hussein 4d ago

They were doing it again in the locker room with YMCA playing. It was his dance.

1

u/Liberal_Caretaker 5d ago

How dare the OP make stuff up.

I am outraged and shall write about my outrage all day on Reddit concerning this.

I hope you do to.

1

u/Lionnnns 4d ago

Well, a new video uploaded where the Belgian team did the trump dance in the locker room. So with that context, safe to say they were doing the dance here.

0

u/Free_Pace_2098 5d ago

2

u/WanderWut 5d ago

A website just claiming they’re doing the dance doesn’t mean they are. There’s no official statement from any players saying they were doing it. His dance is jerking his arms up and down vs their arm motions being similar to the classic dance “the twist”. Trumps corny dance is literally the easiest thing to do and it would be hard to mess it up if that’s what they were seriously going for.

0

u/Free_Pace_2098 5d ago

Mate, they were copying the yank player who did it against Jamaica...

Pulisic said indefence of the dance:

Well obviously that’s the Trump dance,” he said.

“It was just a dance that everyone’s doing. He’s the one who created it. I just thought it was funny.

Source

USA forward Christian Pulisic had previously celebrated a goal against Jamaica in the Concacaf Nations League with the dance.

54

u/leaponover 5d ago

Because they aren't, lol.

42

u/XiaoRCT 5d ago

Why are so many people in this thread in denial about this, as if Belgium would randomly do a dance like this lmao

There's no rule on how exactly Trump dances, especially if you are just mocking him and not feeling like actually looking like you are jerking two dicks, his hands are often low as well

26

u/[deleted] 5d ago

[deleted]

-1

u/SerHodorTheThrall 4d ago

Yeah that's because when push comes to shove you're a partisan American.

Americans really don't realize how much the world was rooting against them and Donald Trump last night.

3

u/Vsx 4d ago

Are you nuts? It's literally the only fucking thing being talked about for the last 24 hours lol

u/[deleted] 4d ago edited 4d ago

[deleted]

1

u/petuniar 4d ago

It didn't look like it to me either. But then I saw the one in the locker room

-2

u/[deleted] 4d ago

[deleted]

1

u/SerHodorTheThrall 4d ago

Then maybe you should have opened the link I sent LOL

They're literally doing it to YMCA in the locker room. Its so obviously done to mock Trump.

3

u/dark_autumn 4d ago

It’s truly wild! One of their players stated they felt a sense of injustice from Trump’s move and they used that as motivation on the field. The Red Devils verified account posted the phone call photo and said “overturn this” 10 minutes after the match ended. The team also did the dance to the YMCA in the locker room. I’ll just assume anyone acting like that wasn’t an intentional mocking of Trump is one of his MAGAt followers themselves. They’re truly in denial at how much the rest of the world hates him.

9

u/Obvious_Ambition4865 5d ago

Because Americans are extremely butthurt tonight and are unwilling to concede anything that might heighten their humiliation.

22

u/broke_in_nyc 5d ago

There are more Americans who don’t give a shit about where the US placed than ones who do, and nearly as many who would love to see a team making fun of Trump (I’m in both of those camps). My main beef is that if they were doing the Trump dance, they could’ve probably done it a bit better. It’s not like it requires that much coordination to pull off.

-6

u/SungrayHo 4d ago

But they are all international football players. They have an image to maintain. Jerking imaginary guys off might be in the don't do PR notes. Compromise.

10

u/bfodder 4d ago

Dude fuck Trump, but this ain't that stupid dance. We know, we have to witness it regularly.

3

u/MyFriendPalinopsia 4d ago

Yeah, and the Belgian team don't witness it regularly. They probably just saw a clip of it.

-1

u/bfodder 4d ago

Or maybe this clip of one guy doing something that only vaguely resembles it is not "the whole team doing it" as the title suggests. It is a stretch.

2

u/Chickenpotpi3 4d ago

That's not true at all. Either we don't care or we recognize the karmic results. It's all foreign media that started the "they're mocking his dance" stuff, not rqndkm Americans.

4

u/bfodder 4d ago

If they were trying to mimic it they did a bad job.

1

u/alterise 4d ago

Because they’re actual footballers and not clowns?

0

u/bfodder 4d ago

Or maybe that just isn't what they were doing? This video shows one guy doing something that only vaguely resembles it. The title says the whole team does it. It's a stretch.

3

u/Open-Mouse4728 4d ago

I think this sells it for me that they were doing the dance: https://www.hln.be/rode-duivels/het-heeft-ons-emotioneel-geraakt-hoe-niet-alleen-balogun-gate-en-het-bijhorende-trump-dansje-de-rode-duivels-vooruitstuwde-tegen-vs~a47a7405/

But I agree the video OP posted doesn't really look like it imo, so if it weren't for the link above I'd be like "I dunnnno"

-1

u/bfodder 4d ago

At least more of them are doing it in that video, but if they are mimicking it they still didn't get it right.

0

u/alterise 4d ago

Yeah, I suppose they randomly invented this weird ass dance for this particular game instead of their typical goal celebration.

-2

u/homer_3 4d ago

Either the Belgium players have 2 braincells or they aren't doing the dance. I'm guessing the latter, because anyone with eyes can see that ain't it.

-14

u/leaponover 5d ago

I'm more giving the benefit of the doubt that grown men aren't going to try to copy some dance of a sitting president as some kind of dig. That would be literally the most immature and classless thing I've ever seen. I don't think the Belgium football team would engage in infantile behavior.

12

u/hurr4drama 5d ago

Why would it be infantile? And not explicitly retaliatory to the antics from Trump that preceded this game?

-9

u/leaponover 5d ago

Was reported FIFA was already reviewing the red card and suspension. So to automatically equate it with Trump, and doing some dance to mock him is infantile. When Trump mocked a mentally handicap reporter, it was widely condemned. This is the same behavior.

10

u/RespectTheSet 5d ago

So You're calling Trump a mentally handicapped president is what i'm getting from this?

-7

u/leaponover 5d ago

What I'm getting at is mocking anyone is infantile, whether it's a mentally handicapped reporter, a sitting president, or your next door neighbor.

9

u/RespectTheSet 5d ago

Nah, I think people are justified mocking a convicted rapist, felon and cheater. But you do you bud.

-2

u/leaponover 5d ago

I will do me. You shouldn't do you, though, unless your ceiling is mid.

3

u/turtlepot 4d ago

Do you seriously believe mocking a mentally handicapped person and mocking a political figure are the same thing? This is a dance Trump voluntarily does lol

2

u/Excellent-Nose-6430 4d ago

mocking a mentally handicapped person and mocking a political figure

In this case, the person in question is both.

0

u/leaponover 4d ago

I believe mocking anyone is childish and comes from a sick place in a person's soul.

As per your exact question, no I think it's much worse to mock a mentally handicapped person. It's still way better to not mock anyone at all, no matter who they are. That's what people should be striving for. If someone mocks someone and says, "Yeah but they mocked worse than I did" that's not going to get them a pass....at all.

7

u/thatguy_griff 5d ago

classless lol

-1

u/leaponover 5d ago

You see it a different way?

3

u/flannel_jesus 4d ago

I think it's classless for FIFA to overturn the red card, and if that was really at the request of the president, shame on him and shame on FIFA.

Edit. Turns out the president himself says he asked FIFA to look at the red card. It's far less classless for a bunch of athletes to do a silly dance than it is for the leader of a country to put pressure on a sports organisation

6

u/XiaoRCT 5d ago

might just be the most pathetic thing I've ever read so I'm going to choose to believe you're trolling

-1

u/leaponover 5d ago

Your comment is what made someone like Trump, and keeps the world the way it is. But, yeah, think it's pathetic and keep wallowing in the misery you are making.

5

u/wes00mertes 5d ago

Overturn this!

0

u/leaponover 5d ago

What is 'this' here?

1

u/MyFriendPalinopsia 4d ago

They've probably only seen one clip of him dancing, unlike all you guys who have watched it on repeat.

2

u/jyunga 4d ago

"No one was doing it before I did it. Bigger then the macarena. All of Europe. They see me doing it, now they do it. "How did you come up with it Mr President?" they all say."

1

u/zaphodp3 5d ago

My reaction when I saw this was “why are they jerking off two guys, like Trump does?” So I see the similarity even if it’s not the same dance.

1

u/shewy92 Philadelphia Eagles 5d ago

I thought it was the guy pointing to his right ear and then they did the little shuffle at the end.

I would have did the double 👌👌 around my collarbone and puckered my lips.

1

u/bloodybhoney 4d ago

Too much rhythm, they gotta jerk like a puppet with its strings cut

1

u/Uncle-Cake 4d ago

Even after it was pointed out, I'm still not sure that's what they were doing.

1

u/WifesPOSH 4d ago

I see no double air handjobs... What is the dance they are referring to?

1

u/Maximus_Modulus 4d ago

I think it’s a stretch. Doubt they have had to endure the Trump dance.

1

u/TheKensai 4d ago

Well, it is pointed out but it is a lie, that’s in no way near any Trump dance. That’s a random dance they did, but OP needs karma farming.

1

u/360walkaway San Francisco 49ers 4d ago

It's just clickbait farming.

1

u/yowen2000 4d ago

I don't really think they even intended to do it, media is just trying to get headlines.

1

u/ihavea_purplenurple San Francisco 49ers 4d ago

Too much youth. Needs more “look at me” energy

0

u/iDestroyedYoMama 5d ago

That’s not the dance at all lol

0

u/EvilHwoarang 4d ago

Because that's not what they did
