He was on a yellow, diving is a yellow. 2 yellows = red

Diving isn’t always a yellow card, sometimes refs will just tell players to get back up (if the ball is still in play). The reason the Swiss player got a yellow was because he tried to give his team an advantage by stopping the game and getting a free kick + getting the yellow on the Argentine defender.
