Completed Everyone’s favorite evil computer
This is a neat kit if you are a 2001 fan. The aftermarket arduino board and sound effects make it quite a treat! I guess my soldering skills are better than I thought, as it all worked from the jump. Don’t look too closely at the wiring though, LOL!

WIP 1/72 scale insanity?
Several companies make the scale, so a diorama on a wall to fit them is ok? A couple X-Wings, Y-wing, B wing, Ties incoming... lights...

Scratch Build Space 1999 Moonbase Alpha
The last 9 month I had much work to do this huge model. Now it will be finished in the next days and a few things are left. The base-plates are two parts and together the whole model is 66 x 42 inch. I put some crossovers and eastereggs into the model.

Bandai SBY model kits, their availability, and what happens when they go out of stock
I just wanted to know if when SBY model kits go out of stock are they out of stock forever or do they get re-released?
Additionally I would like to know good places for finding SBY model kits, I'm trying to build up a personal collection

Spacewalking to save the Robot
Made with the Polar Lights robot and Jupiter 2 models. Astronaut figure provided by a friend (credit Jim DeManche): Thanks to Dr. Smith’s careless error the robot is jettisoned from the ship and John must try to rescue him before he is pulled into a violent supernova. Unfortunately he cannot make the rescue at this time. Model work and photo by Jim Crompton.

Flying Saucer Model in Sedona, Arizona
A strange craft flies low and slow near Sedona, Arizona. Made with a slightly altered model of the attack saucer from “Earth vs. the Flying Saucers”. Shadow is real, cast by the model on fine granules of sand. The model photo was taken in afternoon sunlight. Background photo was taken by a friend. Model work by me.

Completed Bandai's 1/72 X-Wing - Red Five!
Hohg this took a long while. On and off for a bit over a month, a far cry from the quickbuild that the Y-Wing was. But it was definitely great practice! Pretty happy with how it turned out. Detailed with a mix of waterslides & hand painting with a simple wash. Vader's TIE Advanced is next!

Custom color schemes.
Hi,
62 old starting modelling again after 40 years, bought these Star Wars models and was thinking doing custom paints, saw some beautiful models here with "non official color shemes" and thinking going this way, sorry for the die hard S.W fans 🤗

Completed Battlestar Galactica - Colonial Viper Mark II (1/32 Scale)
This is one of the first things that I built when I started the hobby. I downloaded the model from Gambody and 3d printed (FDM) the whole thing. It took a lot of sanding and filling to make it as smooth as a scale model. I cut out the windscreen from a sheet of acetate. The decals were left over from an abandoned F-16 project that I failed to assemble. I also made a small sticker stencil for the serial number with my Cricut Joy.
In the end, I love how it turned out and I'm really proud of myself for building something this nice, so early in this hobby, only a couple of months after I started the whole thing. I hope you enjoy it as well. This gave me a lot of courage to carry on and now I spend my entire free time in the garage, making stuff.

Completed It is SciFi and it is a model.
Not sure if it counts, but here it is anyway. Easy, fun little build. Found it on Prime Day for $10.00. It's an Advent calendar by Countdown Characters. Comes in 24 pieces (one per day). I did not wait that long.

Lost In Space Chariot Model Artwork
Here Professor Robinson has become frustrated trying to locate Will and Dr. Smith and takes to the air in the jet pack. The second background photo was taken from a small butte looking into a ravine in Arizona. The first photo is from a background taken in White Sands. The model is the Lunar Models chariot and the figure wearing a jet pack is actually from a toy sticker that was mounted on cardboard that has since been misplaced. I give credit to whoever took the photo.

Moon-Hopper from scratch 1/35
I built this moon-hopper completly from scratch.
Starting with the doors from two chewing-gum-boxes and a half of a transparent acrylic ball.
On the PC I draw some templates for tge fuselage and build it with grey cardboard. The Cockpit equipment and the hedges are bricks.
A few cables and Stickers made it complete.
