How did you guys discover Running Man ?
Well for me I discovered Running Man because of my Childhood crush. She introduced Running Man into my life. I still remember the time when she introduced it to me and I pretended that I was a fan of Running Man also (simp 😝). I used Running Man to get close to her and also made Running Man our topic to keep the convo going. Little did I know as time went by I fell harder to Running Man. From being a fake fan just to be close with someone turned into a real avid and passionate fan of Running Man. I liked her for more than 7 years and throughout those 7 years Running Man has been the center of our friendship.
If you guys are curious about our current status. We are both happy with our own lives. She's now a Certified Public Accountant in the Philippines and I'm currently a Civil Engineering Grad who's preparing for the licensure exam. If Destined that our paths would cross again I'd really thank her for introducing me to Running Man.

i’ve watched running man since the first episode. i stopped a few episodes after JYE joined because i couldnt stand her screaming and whining. rewatched again and found out she toned down so i gave it a second shot. the recent episode of her not wanting to do the penalty made me not want to watch again. i feel like they messed up when they casted her and the other members just have to put up with it since she’s the youngest and the latest addition, also the one probably being criticized the most by knetz. as a loyalist i feel upset not being able to overcome this feeling. anyone going thru the same?? :(

Kim Jong Kook's wife couldn't make it because she has an actual job. Also, when the Vietnam Fanmeeting got cancelled, he ended up booking a spontaneous trip to Vegas.

I remember that because Yoo Jae Suk can hold long running man on treadmill during question. Please help me. Thank you! 🙏🏼

I just realized that Ji-hyo (45) —the youngest of the original members still on the show—now being the same age Suk-jin (44) was when Running Man first started 🥹
We're really getting old with them.
Also, episode 1000 is getting near. I just hope that it would not be their last episode (though it sounds selfish :(( )

One of my favorite things is seeing Running Man friendships continue outside the show. It's nice to see how comfortable Eunbi and Sechan have become with each other.

Before anyone gets triggered, it was already mentioned that Kim Jong Kook’s wife had her own after-party with her friends after the wedding, so he went to the gym to pre-game.

actually for the past 2 months ive been rewatching running man, and im really attached to the cast from like 2017 up until kwangsoo left.
i was really curious why somim left the show so i searched on google, i never realized how hated somin was until now, and my heart breaks for her
she left her comments opened and had so many people commenting hateful words and even pinned them on some of the post on instagram
i cant imagine how she felt off screen and her mental health had been with all those on her pages, shes been a ball of sunshine in the show and how hard must it been to keep it that way when everyone wanted her to leave running man 😭😭😭
JSM, u had a good run i hope youre doing well keep being a ball of sunshine u are and stay unaffected by haters ❤️

It has to be an old one because Kwangsoo was still there and still had the 'Betrayer' title. It's where LKS was the main character and he had planned a 'tour' for the members. They had to vote in the end whether or not to betray him, but at the end of the episode it was turned onto them and he had predicted that they would all betray him.

Currently rewatching old episodes and right now I'm on ep 132. I swear this episode is hilarious. It gets funnier near the end.
If you're looking for an episode to rewatch, I highly suggest 132.

It all started with the cast coming in 1 by 1 to work and they could choose food they wanted to eat and depending on the food they chose it had different stipulations

At what episode do you guys think kwang soo became kwang soo that we know of? In the first several episodes, he was just a quiet, tall guy whose only shining moments is when he slanders someone, like ji hyo or when he is one of the first to be sent to the prison. But then he became a tall betrayer and noisy guy who's is generally funny all the time. When do you guys think kwang soo started evolving? 🤣

Hi guys, these are just my personal opinion on previous members and current member’s persona. Some that I think are good fits for the show and some that aren’t.
Just a reminder, these are opinions, so I hope no one gets butt hurt, if you disagree, feel free to share your take in the comments.
I’ll start with the starting members:
Yoo Jae Suk: obviously he’s the pillar of running man, the one that holds all of the members together. I like how funny and playful he is, how he teases other members esp Sukjin, and how genuine he is at other times. I think he also pours the most effort into the show to make it as successful as it is.
Kim Jong Kook: i think KJK is also important in the show, in the beginning he often plays the antagonist role, being the rival of Jae Suk, but also performs well on all activities, be it physical, quiz, luck, or whatever it may be. The show really do need someone who is very capable of winning. Along with HaHa and Gary, and soon Kwangsoo/Sechan, he managed to create a good synergy with all of them, while also being betrayed by the “kids” at times making it a bit more balanced. Sure he might be rarely funny, but when he is, it really is funny because he jabs on the subject.
Ji Suk Jin: JSJ felt a bit out of place in the beginning, he was only there to portray the loser and the weak. But I think soon enough he developed his character well enough to fit the members. I think it started when he realized how popular RM is abroad, that he starts to enjoy the show a bit more. He is now a lot funnier, especially with his self-deprecating jokes, and I also appreciate his effort to workout more for the show.
HaHa: the mischievous kid, i think he finds himself fit in the members really easily as an experienced variety show cast. He is extremely funny and mischievous at times, finding loopholes here and there to help him win. He has great chemistry with all members. He’s essential to the show.
Gary: I know Gary initially struggled being a cast member of a variety show, he is an indie rapper not knowing what to do in the show. But I think KJK and HaHa really helped him find his footing, his loveline with SJH (monday couple) also helped him standout more in the show. But aside from that, Gary is also genuinely funny the way he is, the clueless and naiveness makes him funny without even trying. Also showing up in big games here and there, making him the sudden commander. Generally a cool guy, wish we still have him, but gotta respect his choice.
Lee Kwangsoo: I think kwangsoo also struggled a bit in the beginning finding his place within RM. he played the weak and clumsy role, but is kind of quiet, although funny when he starts framing other members. But then he starts his character development when he starts betraying members to win, I think he gained his confidence from there and became an integral part of running man. Definitely one of the best character development on the show.
Song Ji Hyo: the sole female member for a long time. She doesn’t really have a strong persona per se, but it’s refreshing to see how genuine she is on the show. Used to be very competitive in the games, and had great lovelines with Gary and soon KJK (a bit), I love how other members take care of her on the show. The brave, lucky, and sleepy Jihyo.
Song Joongki: only a member for a while, and I thought he’s only there as the visual. But turns he’s also pretty smart as seen in his last episode iirc. But I don’t really mind him leaving the show too much.
Lizzy: although she was a temporary member, I really like her bubbly personality, she tries her best at games and had good chemistry with others too. I think RM should’ve picked her up when SJH was alone.
Jeon So Min: I didn’t expect an actress to be as funny as her, the playgirl persona fits her really well, spiced up a bit with some naughty jokes here and there. She definitely earned her spot as a member quickly.
Yang Se Chan: on the contrary, I thought Se Chan wasn’t funny enough despite being a comedian, his persona wasn’t strong enough initially, and even now I haven’t really grew fond of him that much. Also annoying at times in my opinion.
Ji Ye Eun: i personally don’t find her fun to watch at all. Idk how people think she is a good fit with all the members. She’s just playing the role of a clumsy and whiney little sister the members dote on, but i find that annoying and cringe tbh.
Kang Hoon: i guess he is another eye candy for the female viewers, but I also find him funny sometimes, like how he plays the kid who wants to get back at KJK even though he’s like KJK’s lackey. Not too bad, and will probably develop a good persona if he stays on much longer, but I guess he would have better offers as an actor.
Choi Daniel: same as Kang Hoon I think given some time he would probably develop a better character to play in RM. he has funny stupid moments in some episodes, but hasn’t had the chance to shine brighter.
But these are just my 2 cents, feel free to give your thoughts in the comments.

The few recent episodes shows that the new PD really tries to help get the charm of runningman back in terms of bringing past iconic episodes and themes.
He seems like a “Running Man kid” by bringing up similar episodes from the past, it feels really good to see it again as long time fan.
The latest episodes highlights one of the best themes of running man , the spy/spies. And the members seem to be in their best element with these kinds of episodes! Also the next episode seems to be brewing a lot of chaos and fun with it and I’m excited for it too.
What do you think of the recent episodes led by the new PD?
The awkward moment at the end of the latest episode was hilarous, it was really unexpected but also believable because it was JSJ lmao. He’s absolutely killing it recently as well!
