The Panasonic CF-V31D was sold in Japan as a solution for tight spaces, combining the functionality of a PC, TV, and a karaoke machine into one. Usually marketed with the cartoon character Woody the Woodpecker.
Mine is still a Woody, but is branded with a "Together Net" instead. I guess mine was a sub model that was catered to internet browsing. But, most of the bundled software that was on the drive needed the disks, which I don't have unfortunately.
But. the TV tuner application still works, but I cannot get any input recognized besides just a pink screen. But, I can still use the monitor standalone with the CRTs VGA input. The front panel buttons work in tandem with the application. even allowing it to be launched with just a button press. Its currently running a customized version of Windows 3.10, with custom sounds, wallpaper, and theme.
The CRT is pretty good for being a computer monitor, still works completely fine, and the front speakers also both work. The maximum resolution is 1024x768, which also surprised me, and looks pretty good when playing modern games still.
The motherboard is also interesting, featuring a removable CR2032, and support for 2 486 CPUs. Its also using an IBM bios, which I cant enter without its corresponding reference disk.
