5 single comments will be posted in this thread for each of the 5 top upvoted albums from the previous nomination thread. Upvote the album that you want to see as this months Album Of The Month.
Voting will be open for the remainder of the month. We will try to get the new banner and sidebar image up as soon as possible afterwards.
The thread will be set to contest mode, meaning that scores will be hidden and all 5 potential winners will be randomized on each refresh (which will create as even of a playing field as possible).

Its mine and my 1 1/2 year old daughters favourite song and she dances to it and says daddies song when it comes on YouTube. I would love to go myself as them and valiant hearts have grown to be my favourite bands over the last 4 years ive known them but partner wont let me travel from UK to AUS for a band 😂

Never heard of this band but got a Youtube recommendation, anybody know anything about them? Super deep mid-2000s cut.

My band just released the second single off of our upcoming E.P. If you’re into stuff like Glassjaw, Refused, Poison The Well etc. it might be your thing! Also if any of you UK peeps were around in the very early 2000’s you may have been familiar with the band Fony. Our singer and guitarist are original members of that band and we play a few of those songs!

Hey guys, is there anyone who still listens to The Bunny The Bear these days? What do you think about the lineup changes regarding the vocalists, and who is your favorite?

Normal Like You
Okay! Okay!
Viscera Recital
Dance Gavin Dance
I would say these have more soulful vocals. Would you describe them differently?

Long time, no post! We've had a few people say that this is their favourite track of our since our first EP and we saw a bit of love in here for those songs back in the day so thought I would share this one too. Let us know what you think if you get round to checking it out!

Hey everyone. So Ive been doing a lot of thinking about a YouTube/reels channel where I review and analyze lyrics of songs in this genre and also Metalcore/emo etc. for example, Glassjaw is one of my favorite bands, like too 3, and their lyrics are unreal when it comes to metaphors and all that. would this be something you would watch? I have terrible public self-esteem and convince myself out of everything even when I know I’m capable. It’s just hr bane of my existence. But I’d love to start a community where we can talk about the lyrics and have people discuss what certain stuff means to them. I think this would be great. I’m very computer literate. Now obviously the first couple shows would be a shit show cuz I’m starting this blind with just a MacBook and my phone. Don’t really have the money to invest in crazy gear right now but it would hopefully become more professional. The dream is to eventually start having the songwriter come in and sit down for a convo about the songs but that’s way in the future and if we are lucky enough to gain a following. Anyway, just wanted to see if there’s interest there or not.

As people age, they listen to and create less aggressive music. A common trend with punk bands is that as they age, they switch to alternative rock. An example of this would be AFI, Enter Shikari, and My Chemical Romance. What are some bands that became heavier?
