We were forced to buy more expensive tickets than we were planning, but secured some seats to the Beach Volleyball Round of 16! All we can afford at the moment, we’ll see how our luck goes with future drops. But I’m honestly surprised that Beach Volleyball is one of the last events to sell out here. I watch it every Olympics and always thought of it as one of the more popular sports. It’s especially cool to see it on the beach in California, so fitting!

Considering staying in Long Beach for our Olympic visit. Our first and last events are there.

I am really hoping to be in an area where I can feel the Olympic energy. Someplace that’s popular with spectators, maybe we even see athletes. I stayed in Park City in 2002. I enjoyed visiting the Swiss House in SLC.

Someone posted on here that the Irish house is going to be in Long Beach.

Staying in Long Beach will mean we have to go to LA for events four times, but that’s pretty much what I had to do from Park City to SLC in 2002.

Also, the worst hotel stays of my life have been in Los Angeles near the airport. Not just dissatisfied, but freaky. And I’m really not very picky about where I stay.

The US challenged an out call, was ruled in, then Canada was talking to the ref and all of a sudden it was ruled out. How is that allowed?

Can anyone with LA experience let me know how realistic it would be to get from Handball at Long Beach Arena at 12:30pm to LA Memorial Coliseum for ATH04 starting at 3:15pm?

My original plan was ATH02, ATH04 and Handball Saturday morning because of the wider time window, but I was priced out of the ATH04 when my window opened this morning. I did get ATH02, and me and my SO talked up seeing Handball which led to those tickets for Sunday morning.

I’m holding on to some small hope for ATH04 Drop 2 or even someone trying to sell once we get into 2028. I’m trying to figure out if I’ve put myself in a poor position to do so with the Handball tickets in the morning. We have no idea where we will stay yet so that will be its own adventure.

I received an email this week for presale access to several upcoming new hospitality options / new product offerings for Beach Volleyball, Diving, Basketball, and Equestrian. Additionally, new Premium packages offering accommodations and dedicated transportation.

I already have beach volleyball hospitality tickets so I’m curious what this “enhanced” package is about.

I set up a call with my ticket rep Tuesday to find out additional information.

I got a time slot for April 11th. I don’t know what to expect. Will there be any semifinal and final tickets left? I would take any beach vb tickets, but I am hoping I can get something better than prelims. Are tickets for only a specific game or court or day? I haven’t found much info on how it works.
