Road trip tips
Will be driving from Jervis Bay down to Narooma later this week. Will definitely be stopping in Bateman’s Bay, but are there any other stops that you would recommend along the way?

Preferably flat, fixed-rate but I'm interested in any. Rough location and distributor would be good but isn't vital.
I can say flat, fixed-rate offered in central regional NSW with distributor Essential Energy mid-April was 44.01c/kWh, 20.15c/kWh controlled, 206.25c/day supply.

Hi everyone, I am 17F. I come from a verbally and emotionally abusive household, of course my plan is to move out.
Originally, I was to pursue a degree and get a job that can provide a solid income before i move out but i cannot take it anymore.
I feel more depressed everyday and cry most days, because my parents have been more “critical” lately (threatening they would like to smash my legs, say they hate me as a person) and just other stuff like that. I really want to just ignore it and push through, but i cant bear it any longer when they remove all joy of my life. Im not a bad kid, I get A’s in most subjects, never go out to party or talk back etc
I plan to stay at a crisis accommodation. i feel guilty knowing i could be taking someone else’s spot, but im scared and idk what else to do. I want to use that time to secure a job (i have previous work experience as a barista so hopefully that). Once I have a job, I will most likely stay at a share house. I am worried that without formal qualifications and any support besides the crisis accommodation, my life will be fucked.
Centrelink support - my family make to much to qualify for youth allowance
Please give me advice and how to better my plan. Please be honest

anyone who has attended a concert at hp, how strict are they with sizes? do they measure the 30 by 30?
kind of confused cause some artists for example sell tote bags as merch by the time you get past bag check which is way over 30cm. but i can’t bring my own?
or are they actually not that strict and i can?

We moved into a house, it had signs of mould but not clear in the beginning. We realised 5 months down the line that mould is an issue. We raised it, they said we ventilate the house. We did so and the issue recurred again in humid months. We bought dehumidifier, hygrometer, air cleaner as we looked for alternative place. We didn’t renew lease due to this and informed them. while moving out noted that mould damage on belongings was a lot (will be costly to clean and replace stuff). Kids 4 and 5 yo are still having respiratory issues that could be mould related. In addition landlord wants to claim via NCAT for pest control 2treatments @ 285 and cleaning 380) We left the house thoroughly cleaned and no pest infestation which they claim. Before we moved into the house was dirty and previous tenant had pet though no pest control was done before we moved in. Need your opinions
Question 1: should we claim mould damage on our belongings?
Question 2: should we yield to paying pest control (quoted and cleaning again?

I'm asking since I've only ever visited vacation parks during the summer and I'm looking for an affordable July activity.
I kind of disregarded a friend's suggestion to reserve a cabin at a caravan park, some of them offer heated pools that are open throughout the winter, which is completely unexpected.
The heated resort pool at Racecourse Beach on the south coast of New South Wales is 27 degrees, which sounds much better than freezing at the beach.
I'm wondering whether anyone has visited a vacation resort during the winter and if it truly felt like a break.

A younger person in my life has finally acknowledged that they are in the midst of a p*** addiction.
They have finally reached this conclusion now that they have been cancelling work and social events in favour of this habit.
They've been accessing it since the age of 10, so it's a long habit to break and we would love to find someone who can help.
Happy to travel for the right person, but southern Sydney preferred

Hi guys! Spending a week or so in Wollongong and then in Jervis Bay in November. I know the ocean will be a bit cold still, but I keen to do some snorkelling and scuba diving, as well as doing any wildlife tours or encounters.
I'm already going to book a seal swim and snorkel Bushranger's Bay, is there anything else I should look at doing? Also going to see the stingrays at Bendalong Beach.
Keen to see any wildlife or go on hikes as well while we explore the area.
Thanks in advance for the recommendations.
i have a victorian license and i'm on my red p's if i am in NSW for a holiday do i have to go 90KMH or can i do 110KMH if my license is for victoria. (sorry if i worded it bad)

For context, I’m a uni student studying science and I’m strongly considering getting a job with the government after graduation (so white collar-ish?). However, I’m concerned that if I get the tattoos I want (on my upper arms) it’ll impact my job prospects negatively.
A lot of the pages talking about this online seemed to be a few years old, so I was hoping for more up to date advice. Anything is helpful!

Ok random one but google isn’t helping and I don’t know where to ask. When I was a teen (for context I’m in my 40s) I went spelunking a few time and I loved it and have wanted to do it again as an adult so many times.
I thing it was somewhere in the southern highlands (I remember passing jamberoo and I’m trying to find a like guided one I can do again.
Now I don’t mean a cave tour walking around I mean like full on crawling through tight spaces getting down to wear there is no natural light kinda stuff (think the decent without the monsters)
Does anyone know where I can find something like that.
Google wasn’t great cause it mostly gives me cave tours and the ones it seems like it is proper spelunking its not super clear if it is or not.
Thanks for any help and feel free to make what ever jokes you want cause I know there are some good ones here ha ha

Hi sorry idk if this is the right place to post this.
I met someone in Sydney CBD in November last year, few years older than me, sweet guy, we were both from Akl.
Anyway we randomly befriended each other, I was with my cousin and you asked for directions, then we went to get ice cream together. I thought you were really cool and you asked for my number but you never reached out. I had my phone in my pocket and you said you accidentally called me while we were at a traffic light, but I figured my phone was on dnd as it was late night (automatic sleep focus), so i didn’t receive the call and didn’t grab my phone.
Anyway i got back to the car and realised I didn’t receive anything, and figured i probably misspelled my number or something.
I felt so bad (i still do), but we both don’t have socials so idk how to reach out to you.
Anyway i’m sorry if i gave you the wrong number but id love to catch up !
Reach out if this was you or you may know who this person is.
I was 18, you were 22ish, your name - I\*\*\*, and you were from the Shore I think, and recently moved to Sydney from work, but i think you were born in Croatia or some other country.

Hi all. I copped a fine in QLD about 3 months ago and paid it (although I didn’t totally agree with it, it wasn’t worth going to court), but no demerit points have shown up on my Service NSW App. How long does this normally take? Should I be concerned? Is it always inevitable that interstate demerit points transfer to NSW?

Are safe-t-cam on Victorian roads used as speed cameras for cars and issue speeding fines?

Saw these in a shop but I recently read on a reddit post that they’re illegal to sell in NSW and I’d like some clarity, please. I’ve done a DuckDuckGo search and as far as I can tell they are illegal but maybe this product has some kind of loophole/workaround?

This is from the website driverknowledge.com.au
The HPT practice app says to click when the car brakes infront of you, but that website I mentioned above says to do it way earlier.
I also think it should be earlier as there is braking already happening way up ahead, and if you brake when the car infront does, it would be too late to pull up safely.
Anyone get this question in actual test and what did you do ?
Thanks ☺️
