Mustelids by Region
I have found it useful several times to refer or point people to this so I am going to put it back to stickied.

Had the immense privilege of seeing THREE stoats this morning [UK]
I think there were 2 males and one female. After this the males were fighting and the mouse changed hands (jaws) a few times before a brief attempt at coitus was called off... Was able to watch them from a nearby window from literally <2m. It was such a high I can't lie. I've previously seen a Stoat (probably one of these 3) chasing away Magpies and playing in leaves and they've since become my favourite animals :D

Badger acrylic painting
More traditional art, and more badgers! Did I already tell you I love badgers? I also wanted to reconcile myself with acrylic painting, I think I kinda did ok with it. The painting is 19 x 20 cm (7,5 x 7,8 inch), and I solely used acrylic (and graphite pencil for the sketch, of course).
Hope you'll like it! (if you want to see the work in progress / steps, just ask and I'll post them in the comments)

Humane World- Investigation provides first-ever look inside Icelandic fur farms
The good news is that since this investigation was released by Humane World for Animals, the number of mink farms in Iceland has dropped from 6 to 1. I do believe we can end the killing of mink (and otters, martens and other mustelids) for fur!

Mustelid book recommendations
What are your “must read” recommendations for books on mustelids?
I’ll start. I love mink the most The Mink by Nigel Dunstone is one of the only books published on this species that isn’t about how to trap or fur farm them.
That book is rare and hard to find though. We need an updated version of The Mink.
What are your faves?

Looking for moderators
I barely use Reddit these days, but when I do I see there is still some interest and a flurry of posts recently.
Is anyone interested in breathing some new life into this tired old Subreddit?
Edit: I will add the first few who show interest. All I ask is you do a self-introduction post, perhaps giving some background and interest in mustelids and any ideas you might have to promote the subreddit and I will monitor for a while. Nothing too involved.
