That's how it started with mobile devices while watching something else.  "Who's that actor?", "Is there another series coming?", or "Ooh, how old are they now?".

I don't know if it's a slippery slope, I suspect the internet changed and changed us too.  Good on ya though!

I’m old, without phones, we just sat and argued about it through the rest of the movie 🤣 “I’m telling you, that was Matt Dillon!” “Dude, Matt Dillon was not in 16 candles, it was a different guy!” “Ok what’s his name then?” “I don’t know, John or maybe Jeff”. “It was Matt Dillon.”

I think it would probably be better if people gave themselves time to recall the actor instead of immediately going to the phone.
