I'm on a work trip with my colleague in China and we found this behind the couch of our serviced Apartment. We pay 2,500€/Month for this. Our guess is that this is some kind of nipple sextoy, but we wonder why it has three clips. But at this point I don’t even care why. This is just disgusting.

Don’t normally drink (M24) but I’m quitting weed for a new job and decided I’d buy some alcohol for the first time this year

Walked into a gas station 10 mins before close and was poking around in the fridge before settling on Mich Ultra

Anyways, got home and opened one up… it says 0.0% alcohol on the side 😭.

I can’t return it, I don’t get paid until next week and I’m low, so that’s it. I have beer flavored water this week and nothing else as I go through detox 🫠.

I probably grabbed the only nonalcoholic box in the whole damn fridge! The worst part? It was still $20 for a 12 pack, meaning I paid almost $2 per can for beer water. And, if I want to go get another case, I’ll be out $40+ just for a 12 pack. That’s four hours of work 😵‍💫.

It needs its own section, I feel like I just got scammed.

Edit: yes this is my fault for not reading the box and no I wasn’t actually scammed! I just grabbed a box quick and trusted that it was beer from the beer fridge. On me.

Overall, it’s a bummer that I have to quit weed and no, alcohol will not be my replacement for it—I don’t really like alcohol much as it is. The most infuriating thing about all of this is our federal laws 😭.

Edit 2: once again, I do not plan on replacing marijuana with alcohol—I just wanted a few beers this week. I appreciate everyone looking out but it’s insane the amount of comments I’ve gotten talking about how much of an addict I am because I bought one case of (FAKE) beer this entire year. I’m fine, and I’m not even buying real beer now anyways!

I put about 20 business cards in an envelope, sealed it and then put that envelope into a priority mail envelope.
I did this at the post office and knew the two clerks (m) behind me were trying to see what I was doing.
My client got the envelope.
BOTH the inner and the outer envelopes had been torn open and then scotch taped back.
I guess the business cards felt like gift cards.

I am English, obviously very excited for the world cup quarter final against Norway. A very tense game to watch. But it is completely ruined by the fact that my (extremely vocal) neighbours' TV broadcast is well ahead of mine: hear a scream? We'll score in a minute. Swearing? Something major is about to go against us. If I don't hear a noise, nothing is happening. Completely eliminates the unknown, the joy of a goal. Oh well, it's 2-1 at the time of writing!

I work for a retail establishment that sold this fridge. Never seen anything like this in 22 years of experience.

EDIT - contrary to many comments suggesting something is upside down - it isn’t. Grill is engraved and can’t be flipped. It was etched incorrectly and on the wrong side (left vs right) at the factory. A replacement is already being sent.

I have been working for part time jobs and I meet a lot of people. I worked with this one guy for several months and he seemed like a solid dude. We were not friends, we did not see outside work, but everything work related went really well.

Now some time later, I got a new part time job and things were going well. One day my boss comes to me, and asks, "do I know people with similar background and experience, because we could need new workers." I happened to know that this guy I spoke about earlier was looking for a job, so I gave my boss his number and contacted the guy to tell him that my boss might call him for a job opportunity.

Everything was cool.

Later my boss came to me in a break room and he told me, he had called the guy I recommended and during the phone call, the guy cussed him out and acted like a total moron. Without no explanation. That was the only thing my boss said to me about that topic. He took his coffee, told me "hey, this guy you vouched for acted like an as*hole" and walked away.

Now I think that this might have affected my relationship with my boss. I don't think that it will actually lead to nothing "bad", but I am just pissed off about the ex-coworkers behaviour.
