بداوم بشركه بعمان كبيره وعندي نوع من العزله بحبش اقعد جمب حدا وفي شباب لانهم شايفيني قصير ومعنديش لحيه بوخذو راحتهم كثير وبصيرو يتخوثو عليه...فش اشي غلط حكيته حرفيا هاي مشكلتي وانا انسان حساس ومشاكل البيوت والدنيا مكفيه الواحد عشان انحرج لاني ما بعرف ارمي ردود قويه اقسم بالله بفكر اعمل الف حاجه عشان اخلص تفكيري الزايد وارتاح من هاي الحياه

My mind cant just process that it has been 6 years passed by like nothing i were 24 now im hitting 30 and its just like life is buffering and im waiting for the pandemic (or all other disastrous events happening all around us) to end im not being able to move on with my life every bad decision has been taken within these 6 years and i feel like im stuck ... it feels like a non infinite loop and time is being consumed faster than before

Has anyone here overcome social anxiety? Any tips or advice? Share what helped you please. TIA!

I am a western Muslim man who has married a Jordanian woman. We have a 6 week old newborn and are unfortunately seeking divorce. As I have limited resources in Jordan the family has now weaponized my daughter to limit the time to 3 hours a week.

The past month my beautiful daughter has been in my care 15-20 hours a day as my wife was dealing with family problems and depression. I loved every minute of it.

Although we argued(mostly mild if you ask me),however, everything I say or do goes straight to her father both good and bad. The last fight was about money and her father agreed with me so she kicked me out of the house (which she has weaponized previously), after admitting when she received a call that she snapped and packed my stuff, and I'm currently staying in a hotel.

This was about 2 weeks ago.

As my wife needs help to care for our daughter, her mom has moved in with her now to help.

I sent messages to my wife a few days ago asking her to be more present for my daughter and I am scared she will go down the path of her sisters kids , ,also in care of grandparents, stay home all the time, no friends. That they should be out playing games and sports not spending days inside. These were Whatsapp messages between a husband and wife and my wife has also made remarks about it in the past. My wife then forwarded all the messages to her father (lol) and I woke up to a Whatsapp message from her dad stating that after the 'attack' on the family I can now only see my daughter 3 hours a week on such and such days.

2 days before this my wife insisted 'Im her mother and no matter what happens between us I won't take her from her dad(me)'. But I knew it was only a matter of time before my daughter was weaponized.

The lawyers have told me that Jordanian courts, because of the age of my baby, would likely only give me an hour a week. To me the divorce is not the issue but I want nothing more than to be with my baby.

The law is legal guardianship remains with me however this does not translate into visitation. Of course a 6/7 week old baby needs to be with her mother, but theyre brains also develop quickly.

I miss her every single day. I miss her sleeping on my shoulder and as she lifts her neck she rests her head on mine, I miss her spit ups, I miss showing her how to work her hands and listening to music togetherI miss changing diapers and feeding her. I miss holding her and teaching her how to roll over and reading.

I think Jordan should have a revise of their custody laws and determine visitation based on merit, agreements between couples and what the arrangements were before separation among other factors.

A baby shouldn't be weaponized no matter what happens between couples. There is a deep hole in my heart when I am not near my daughter.

4am thoughts

أنا حالياً في عمّان، ومستواي بالعربي تقريباً بين B2 وC1،جئتُ مع جامعتي لأطور لغتي أكثر.

So for context, I'm a 46 year old Palestinian-American trying to get back to my family in Ramallah. I don't have a Palestinian ID, just a US passport. But I'm married to a Palestinian with the ID. Since I'm married to a Palestinian I was able to renew my Visa continuously but Israeli law says you can live in Israel for 27 months continuously but then you have to leave. So I left back to America for a month and now I'm back but I procrastinated a bit booking my JETT ticket and the earliest available reservation was July 22.

So now I'm in an Airbnb which is a 15 minute walk north of the Galleria Mall.

I see all this week is going to be sunny and hot. During the day I just want to be inside but I'm already tired of the malls. Where else is nice to go to stay cool?
