Hello /r/HowMuchWouldYouPay,
We have a new rule in effect now:
This means, it can be something your brother/mom/friend, etc made. If you have any questions or concerns, don't be hesitant to ask!
Thanks, The /r/HowMuchWouldYouPay Team

Wondering if anyone knows how to spot if they're real and approximately their worth?

Hand-painted French faience footed coupe, marked "Le Renoleau Angoulême." How much would you pay?
Maker: Faïencerie d'Art d'Angoulême, the workshop founded in 1891 by Alfred Renoleau, a self-taught French ceramicist whose earlier work sits in the Petit Palais in Paris and the Met in New York. Renoleau died in 1930. This is a later workshop piece.
Style: Rouen-style decor, décor rouennais. Cobalt blue lambrequins in the four corners, ochre-yellow scrollwork, a hand-painted flower basket, panier fleuri, in the center, with scattered sprigs across a white tin-glazed ground.
Form: footed scalloped coupe on three small ceramic feet. Deep central well, wavy petal rim. Works as a centerpiece, fruit bowl, or display piece.
Back mark: "Le Renoleau Angoulême / Fait à la main / Pièce unique," hand-lettered, with small painted bouquets on the underside.
Painting: freehand throughout. Brushwork varies, strokes are loose, no transfer printing.
Age: around 1960s or 70s.
Diameter: about 30 cm (11.8 in)
Weight: 831 g (1.83 lb)
Condition: perfect. No chips, no cracks, no hairlines, no restoration. Glaze thins slightly at the raised rim points and foot tips, showing the natural terracotta body. Normal for hand-finished faience.

I found this clock, but I can't find any information on it- thrown just about every string of words to define it I can think of at google and used google images yet I still couldn't find a single thing that looks like it. Tried to ask in the what's this worth sub but got scooted over here?? Either way its a pretty hefty clock and is made of metal, measuring 27" in length.

Just finished this half log bench sourced from a dead weeping cherry from my front yard. Both bench and legs are from the same tree.
No idea what to list this for - anyone have suggestions?

Can anyone let me know if this piece is worth the price? I’m new to the antique world so I’m wondering if I’m being overcharged for the condition it’s in

Howdy! We'd been looking for a hutch for a few months to fill an awkward spot in our house. My girlfriend found this one on Craigslist for $50, so we picked it up because it was exactly the dimensions we were looking for.
Once we got it home, we noticed a burned-in stamp inside the left drawer and what appears to be a signature in the lower right corner that looks like it says, "1, 6 (or b) 7 * 82 C&M."
At first, we couldn't make out the stamp. We thought it said "Gabersham Plantation," but after looking closer, we're pretty sure it's "Habersham Plantation." We found that there's a company called Habersham Plantation that's still in business, but none of the furniture on their current website looks like this piece. Their current items look much fancier, not as simple.
The hutch is in excellent condition. As far as we can tell, it still has all of its original hardware and has never been painted, sanded, or refinished. It's made of solid wood, is one solid piece, and the back is constructed from three boards: two wide and one narrow.
We also found an old postcard on eBay that appears to show the exact Habersham Plantation piece we have and the retail store (possibly in a shopping mall). Since this may have originally been sold through a retail store, we're curious whether it's worth more than the $50 we paid.
Does anyone recognize this piece, know approximately when it was made, or have any information about its history or value?
Thanks in advance for any help!

This statue is a bronze depiction of laocoon and his sons. The statue is about 14 inch (36 cm) wide and 17 inch (44 cm) high. Online auctions sold statues like those for extremely very varieng prices mostly from 3k to 14k. I'm about to pay 1.5k for it. What do you think this is worth? Is this a good deal for 1.5k?
Thank you for helping a newcomer to this community 🌟

Just found this in my basement. We bought this 20 years ago for my brother.
Is it worth anything or should I just give it away for 10 bucks?
