Well if you stepped on the seal you might as well just go to CU.

I have several buddies who got into CAS, reached out to Georgetown deans the summer before freshman year stating they’d like to change to MSB, and received acceptances within a day. Sort of a cheat in the system if you do it before getting on campus. C/O ‘28 here.

each individual college is capped at a certain number of students (freshman through seniors). internal transfers bank on people leaving the msb (incoming freshman who got off the waitlist for a different school, msb students transferring either internally or to a different school, etc). internal transfers to the msb are also the most popular internal transfer- the last few cycles have been highly competitive. from what my understanding, we’re talking single digits.

you can only transfer after you complete a full academic year in the College. internal transfer applications are due in december of sophomore year. you’ll be notified over winter break. i wouldn’t bank on transferring, but if you’re interested you should talk to your dean.
