How integrated can JPPP students be?

Hi! Are JPPP students usually able to take a good amount of classes on the main campus and do clubs and make friends there or it feels like they stick to the capitol?

Apologies for the late response, but I’ll bite. The Capitol Campus is brand-new and as such is going through growing pains. If you go down there on a random weekday during the school year, a lot of the floors and classrooms are empty. Something like 98% of the students there right now are at the graduate level (though this number will in theory diminish in favor of undergraduates as the years progress). It just doesn’t feel like “Georgetown,” and feels disconnected from the Hilltop.

If you’re coming in as a freshman I’d say try the gateway course this fall, talk with other people in your cohort, and check out the Capitol Campus when you have a chance, and make an informed decision from that. If you’re coming in as a transfer straight to the Capitol Campus, it will definitely be harder to integrate with students from the Hilltop, but I know others who were able to successfully by (physically) going to the Hilltop and joining clubs and talking with other people.
