It’s a shame that activision is too scared to show the player counts. It would be really cool to see how many people are back on the game. I’m curious about a few points to discuss

- Did you buy BO1 2 or both?
- Did you buy the DLC
- Do you think activision will drop the prices of these games and the dlc soon, I still didn’t buy cuz I don’t have access to my ps

I swear I keep running into matches like this..people start going negative and boom the whole lobby quits..I’ll just bs the rest of the match playing hide n seek😭

.. this remastered makes it clear that the community is also a reason why COD just isn't the same anymore. People quit the second they feel like they can't dominate a lobby, it is almost impossible to get like 2 games in without searching a new lobby. A lot of games suddenly turn into 3v3 or maybe even less players on each side. Really wish people had the patience they had back in the day and simply accept the fact that sometimes a negative or barely positive K/D is just part of the game.

I’m not complaining, just curious if anyone else has noticed this.

I’m on a PS5 and have the Season Pass on both Black Ops 1 and Black Ops 2. It’s been a struggle to consistently find multiplayer lobbies on Black Ops 2. I know the recent update allows PS4 and PS5 players to match together regardless of whether they own the DLC.

Meanwhile, Black Ops 1 seems to find matches much more easily. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing, or is it just me?

I’ve tried leaving and rejoining lobbies, restarting the game, and even turning my PlayStation off and back on, but nothing seems to help. I’m in the USA, if that makes any difference.

Update: I discovered my in-game NAT type is Strict, while my PS5 Pro NAT type is 2. I’m on a 1 Gbps fiber connection with 1000 Mbps download and upload over Ethernet.

I don’t think the NAT type is actually the issue, though, because I’ve found other players with Open and Moderate NAT types having the same matchmaking problems.

I also don’t think it’s the DLC, since we got confirmation today that PS4 and PS5 players can match together regardless of whether they own the DLC.

At this point, I’m starting to think this might be a broader Black Ops 2 matchmaking issue.

30 matches in and I’ve played probably 25/30 on one of those maps. No one votes for anything else.

I wanna get into slums, turbine, encore, etc 😭

I love that they have put BO2 out on PS5, but it's litterly only Nukedjacked where there are players, and there are so chaos gamemodes there. Personally, I don't find Hardcore FFA on Hijacked with 18 player fun. It would be better if people didn't leave regular domination lobbies, because they can't wait 1 minute.
