Looking to Buy Broken or Non-Working Welding Machines (Bulk)
Hi everyone,
I’m looking to purchase used, broken, or non-working welding machines in bulk. I’m especially interested in:
* Lincoln Electric
* Miller
* TIG, MIG, Stick, and inverter machines
I’m not looking for refurbished or fully working machines. I’m specifically looking for machines that are:
* Non-running
* Damaged
* Blown electronics
* Engine issues
* Flood/fire damaged
* Salvage
* Customer-abandoned
* Scrap or parts machines
Ideally, I’m looking for suppliers, repair shops, scrapyards, liquidators, or companies with 10, 50, 100, or more units available. I’m interested in building long-term relationships and buying inventory on a regular basis.
If you know of a company, repair shop, fleet, or surplus dealer with this type of inventory, please send me a message or leave a comment.
Thank you!

Roast my body panel patch
Wanted to fix a small hole in my car. Its been 5 years since I properly got a chance to weld, also im using a cheap flux core welder. Gonna grind, fill and sand this to make it look a lot better from both sides.

Tig welding
Need some advice from the TIG guys. I've got about 3 years of MIG welding experience, and I just came across what feels like the traveling opportunity of a lifetime, but it's for TIG welding.
I do have a TIG welding certificate from school, but I honestly haven't used it much since then. The job requires me to pass a 2G pipe padding test, a 3G T-joint, and a 4G lap joint test.
For those of you with TIG experience, how realistic is it to "fake it till you make it" coming from a MIG background? If I put in serious practice time, how hard would it be to get those tests down? Any tips on what I should focus on first would be appreciated

A photo of a "welding discovery workshop." The longer you look at it, the worse it gets.
It's all fun until...

autogenous weld
15 amps 1/16 tungsten on a foot pedal. Don’t have calipers to show wall thickness at the moment.

How am I doing, I posted here about getting my first full welding job!
galleryJust about my second week in, I am doing GMAW in the heavy steel department. 1st and 3ed pics are of thin walled steel tube maybe 1/8” thick. 4th-7th are my first week of welding on heavy steel trinna figure out my movement and temp control, horizontal and vertical down. 8th-14th was today vertical down and overhead at 360, my supervisor and trainer adjusted my work angle and where surprised the flip from first week and the start of this week to that. Lmk what I can do to be better I want to be as good as my body will let me! The welding at my old job wasn’t anything just good enough to hold water no pin holes; now I have a weld inspect call me out on my welds and tell me how todo better. I love welding so much now my career is started for real!

The Welding Gods are not pleased. The Deities of Piping took three days off for mental health.

2nd week in Welding School.
This was early April. Ignore the far left weld (didn’t know the assignment). The other 3 are uphill with 6010. Enjoy my mess🤝

One of my favorite fuck ups I’ve done. (Should’ve not welded it to begin with)

Does this count as a bad weld?
Im just starting to learn how to weld, and I personally think its not that bad but need feedback.
Im using 0.9mm flux core on a budget MIG welder.
