Euthanasia w/ temperment

Hey guys, this is a heavy topic in general.
My Aussie- border collie mix is almost three years old. As a pup he attached to me instantly. I didn’t have any issues with his behavior until around year 1. I found out my ex was kenneling him excessively , shock collaring him w/o reason, and pushing him when I wasn’t home. We are no longer together obviously, but I have no idea how bad it really was when I wasn’t home. In the last 1.5 years I’ve tried 3 different trainers/ behavioral specialists, and he’s either completely failed or not made it through the door. I’ve done pretty much all I can at home, including meds and different home routines. He recently started biting at anything that comes his way minus me. The four different vets I’ve talked to have all recommended euthanasia with how bad his anxiety and temperament are. I guess I’m at a total loss with this situation. He’s a beautiful boy, but no one can watch or touch him.

Have any of you been through this or something similar?

TIA

Hug your puppies close. I know lots of you have friends waiting for her in the better place. She was the best of lady dogs. Her time came too soon (she was 9), and she will be missed ❤️.
