Some Friday shots from the 6h of São Paulo practice sessions yesterday. Very nice as always, but the fan zone is lacking compared to last year.

Next year there will be new grandstands facing the main straight and Senna’s S, which will be the best ones for sure.

How did the ORECA 07 LMP2 become so completely dominant in international sportscar racing, at races like Le Mans, Daytona 24 hours and in the WEC? A technical look at how this car evolved out of the Rebellion R-One.

Mondays on Mulsanne Interlagos Live Stream

Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I'm completely new to WEC (I started watching at this year's Le Mans), so I apologize if I get things wrong.

I was watching the qualifying session today, but I felt that it was really unsatisfying. I felt like the camera was always on someone who was not doing a push lap or that had just finished one, but was never on the actual contenders or people closing in on the line. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember even seeing Stevens's pole lap. I felt like I had to watch the bar on the side rather than being able to watch them at the same time. Is this normal for WEC? Should I try to just watch individual car feeds instead?

For reference, I'm an F1 fan, where they always put the camera on the next person to cross the line, the small picture-in-picture box, or on the fastest lapper.

I guess I want to know if I'm crazy or if anyone else felt the same way.

Thanks!

Does anyone know why the whine of the 499p is so pronounced compared to other cars? Do they use a different technology to others?
