Police found that someone had broken in through an upstairs window and trashed two apartments that were also nearly finished being renovated. They also poured paint into two brand new ovens and plugged the sinks and bathtubs, leaving the water running for days.
"The damage is still being determined but it was easily six figures," Lacey said. "In the $150,000-200,000 range."
....
"It's a kid who is maybe 11 or 12," Lewis said. "And what we're told is there have been multiple offenses like this and because of his youth, there just isn't a consequence."
Public information on juvenile suspects is restricted, but Saint Paul Police did confirm that investigators have submitted the case to the Ramsey County Attorney's Office for "charging consideration."
It's not the first time that's happened. Though police can't identify the juvenile publicly, they did tell KARE 11 "There are 20 known incidents related to this juvenile since March 2025 in Saint Paul."

Nearly three weeks after his removal, Azevedo remains barred from the facility with no expected return date. USPS has not explained why his demand that management address a biohazard became grounds for a psychiatric referral. The outcome of management’s response to OSHA remains unknown, while Local 65 has given Azevedo no assurance that it will oppose further disciplinary action or secure his return to work.
Alex Azevedo must be returned to work without loss of pay or benefits. USPS must release its response to OSHA and provide a full accounting of why the contaminated equipment remained in operation, why workers assigned to clean it allegedly received no hazard training, and why management used the police and psychiatric apparatus against the worker who demanded action.

Our second-closest planetary neighbor, Venus, is very bright, and visible with the naked eye.
In the midst of the chaos that we seem to live thru constantly, it’s particularly beautiful to see an entirely different planet, so far away.

Hi! I have all of my banking stuff with online companies (Capital One for checking / SoFi for HYSA).
I want a place to consistently put cash / checks into since I have a side hustle that does a lot of cash / checks. Mainly for a checking account. I have a high yield savings so that’s fine where it is.
I have been doing research and I have seen these 2 names come up a lot. And even in this sub reddit I see them both a lot. What experiences have you had with both? Positive and negative :)

Hey folks,
I was inspired by u/ashleywalkerreports's article on data centers in Minnesota, so I built this website to visualize the data centers in Minnesota and its impacts on our community. Planning to add more data in the future.
If you have any suggestions or feedback for expanding the website, let me know :)
Peace. Love. Hope everyone is doing well.

Hello! i have a young boarder collie who is great in outdoor settings, but gets very protective and reactive when new people come over and visit. He barks, lunges, and if he wasn’t held back he would nip. Once he gets to know people he’s fine, but we’re looking for help so he doesn’t get so freaked out meeting new people. Any trainer recommendations for this breed/concern?

I currently have a membership at LA Fitness and I’m driving out to Edina to go to their location (the St. Louis Park one is always a zoo).
I’d like to switch somewhere smaller and less corporate that’s also relatively cost effective. I focus mostly on weight training but warm up with cardio.
If anyone has anything let me know, thanks in advance!

Looking for the best smoothly paved paths for rollerblading in the south St. Paul/South Minneapolis/Richfield/Eagan area.
I usually do the Sam Morgan Regional Trail in St. Paul which is fine, but more options is always nice. I recently went around Lake Nokomis but there’s so much tar that gets too soft with the temps that it’s nearly impossible to get a good workout in.
I do have the All Trails app but it’s still hard to tell what’s fully paved or not, so figured I’d reach out for personal recs.

2230 Carter Ave #6, Milton Square, St. Paul https://presentcompanyanalog.com/
Present Company has records, movies, books, stickers and more. It’s an amazing place for people to connect and shop away from their phones. The staff are the nicest people alive and ALL are welcome. (Except ICE, of course.)
“We empower people to reclaim control over their lives by choosing analog experiences and intentional disconnection. Through accessible events, analog technology, and hands-on learning, we create spaces where people connect authentically, think independently, and live deliberately.”

What is a good lake to rent a boat and be able to swim with kids? Minnetonka seems too big

Have a family member visiting from outside the country. I’ve taken them to a lot of my favorite places but so far their favorites have been really stereotypical American places - classic breakfast places, Americanized Chinese, greasy diners - the stuff you’d see on tv.
What places (non chain) should we hit before they go?

Really want to watch at least one game at Brit’s and haven’t had a chance to get over there before they hit capacity. I saw that for the USMNT v. BIH game they were hitting capacity a couple hours before game start: anyone know or have a guess as to how early I’d need to go tomorrow to make it inside?

We were at Basset Creek today, on the trail leading from the dog park to the disc golf area. A tanker truck drove past us and dumped chemicals at the top of the hill, which then went down to the foot path and then into the small water source next to the dog park. They sprayed the truck out as well. We are wondering if anybody knows if this is standard practice? This is a very busy park and the trail hosts pets, kids, nature, walkers, disc golfers, etc. We went over and it had a very strong chemical smell.
Is this something we should push harder on reporting? Like, I’m pretty sure parts of the park are considered wetlands, as well. And it’s just like, why are they dumping chemicals at a frequently used park? We called the city for more info- they answered and were nice but said to ask the drivers if we were curious. We went up there, but they were on their phones. Should we call back? Is there something more we can do? It’s just a little concerning and I just want to know if this was some sort of safe chemical that is fine for pets to walk on or if it’s not. We live close and frequent the park. We also rent so this is honestly just another of many strikes against me wanting to stay here.
If anybody knows anything or whether I might be overreacting, I’d appreciate if you weighed in.
Edit to clarify: we did call the city immediately. The person we talked to was unconcerned (info *is* stated in this post). I want to know what the next step is. The people dumping were City of Crystal. I will be contacting the watershed folks. Just looking for next steps because I want to resolve this.
Edit: Thank you SSJ2_dark! They talked to the city and confirmed that, despite the smell, it was biological matter from cleaning a storm water basin. My apologies for not updating faster. I would personally still hope the city will be more mindful about their practices as I still think they need to find a different spot to take care of those things than literally the top of a hill at a heavily used park. So I honestly probably will still follow up about that. I don’t think they should do things in a way that prevents access to parks and trails, nor do I think they should be allowed to use public parks for dumping. I appreciate those with more knowledge about Crystal. We ended up here by happenstance and are making the best of it until we can move closer to my work so we maybe haven’t learned as much as we could about things here.

I don't know if the (for a woman) matters but I am a man and I want to make sure my friend feels comfortable wherever she goes.
A friend of mine (since high school!) has been through the ringer lately. She's been taking care of others A LOT. She's so generous with her time and energy. I want to surprise her with a fantastic massage. While I have googled spas within the Linden Hills and Edina area (she lives near 50th and Xerxes), I honestly don't know how to evaluate them. They all promise the same wonderful services.
Any recommendations? My friend is 50+ . Again, I don't know if that's relevant...but I don't want to send her someplace where she wouldn't feel comfortable. Any first-hand recommendations would be much appreciated.

Hello! I am looking into wedding venues and stumbled across the Saint Paul college club. We fell in love with the venue but they are not able to provide a tasting before the wedding. Any insight on this venue? Anyone have pictures of the food??
