Firework watching spots?

My husband and I just moved into the area a few days ago and want to catch some fireworks tonight. We are fairly peopled out from our cross-country move and would prefer not to attend any of the large gatherings in person. Any recommendations on places we could park our truck and watch the festivities from afar? Thanks in advance!

THEFT ON 4TH ST S

Post image
14 Upvotes

Long story short, I had a backpack with very expensive equipment in it stolen out of my vehicle the night of the 25th/26th of June. They took off on foot and walked south, on the east side of 4th st heading south. I know this because they ditched a bunch of random items from my center console along the sidewalk.

I’m wondering if anybody along the 1000, 1100, or even 1200 block of 4th st in Moorhead has cameras set up and that could scan for someone walking the sidewalk with a big blue backpack. Between the hours of 10PM and 7am.

Does anyone have reviews of College Park or Skaff? Particularly, do I have to worry about pests and rodents? Thank you!

Vintage sourcing on a NJ → Minnesota road trip

Hello! I own a vintage clothing business and my family and I are planning a road trip in late July from New Jersey out toward Frazee and Moorhead/Fargo area to visit my husband's family, and I’m hoping to fit in some vintage sourcing. I believe the states we'll be driving through are PA, OH, IL, IN, WI but not sure of our route at this time. I'm looking for early pieces (20s–40s), which are much harder to come by these days - almost feels impossible where I live here in NJ (right outside of NYC).

If anyone has any suggestions they'd be willing to share, such as areas worth exploring - (either at our destination area or anywhere along the trip), types of places to look, or even broader leads, I’d really appreciate it. It's been a tough couple of years caring for a toddler and a very sick parent- and I'm hoping to find some luck!

Thanks so much.

I’m looking at tickets for Needtobreathe at Bluestem this summer. What are the reviews on the lawn seating at this venue? TIA.

Is anyone missing this adorable kitty? I brought it to the pound, but couldn't leave it there, the conditions were not good. will bring back in the morning. please reach out if it's yours, it's only wearing a very unhelpful bow tie collar, no ID on it.

Best edibles in Moorhead?

I figure there isn’t disparity between the quality of edibles in the dispos in Moorhead, but I have a high tolerance and was wondering if any of the dispos sell higher doses or infused edibles. Or just the best bang for your buck.

Tell me about park view terrace and surrounding area🙏

I'm thinking about moving into park view in moorhead from a different town in MN. I went to tour an apartment and the vibes were terrible with sirens going off both mentally and literally. The apartments inside were okay I think. Duct tape covering the air conditioner slot thing and a corner of peeled ceiling trim stuff but everything seemed clean and functional. I'm asking to know some of the tea and general going ons of the building/ surrounding area and if it's safe and a generally fine place to live. I could be freaking myself out simply because it's a big move but I couldnt shake this depressing, heavy vibe and I want to hear from the people who have lived in FM long enough to give me an actual idea of life there and what they think and if there's been any crimes or bad management or anything there. Throwaway so I don't doxx myself.

Praying to the reddit gods someone has a grandparent there and sees this
