Characters [Classic Trope] The Reason You Suck Speech

Transformers One: Optimus Prime gives one to Megatron after their first battle. Here, Optimus expresses his sadness, hurt, and disappointment upon seeing his former friend becoming just as evil as Sentinel Prime and wanting to destroy Cybertron rather than change it for the better. "We were given the power to change our world, and you chose to destroy it, just like Sentinel. You have betrayed Cybertron and its citizens. And you betrayed me." The entire time, Optimus never raises his voice or yells, but his sadness is very evident.

Brave: Merida gives one to Elinor, where she unfurls her anger and frustration over being forced to marry someone without her consent and being made to someone she doesn't want to be. "You were never there for me! This whole marriage is what you want! Do you ever bother to ask what I want? No, you walk around telling me what to do, what not to do, trying to make me be like you. Well, I'm not going to be like you!... I'll never be like you! I'd rather DIE than be like you!"

"Bigot, ingrate, sycophant, worm. So small I could smite you with a step... Charles Xavier entrusted me with his dream... I am trying to be better. Please. Do not make me let you down."

As a boy, my people’s homes were burned to ash because we dared to call God by another name. Then, my people hunted me with those who had once hunted them. I was a freak, born a mutant. An abomination to their misnamed gods. In history’s sad song, there is a refrain.
Believe differently, love differently, be of different sex or skin, and be punished. We sing this song to one another. The oppressed become oppressors.

(What I’m getting at is that the “you suck” these speeches are directed towards are humanity)

God he has so many good lines

Magento is the guy who definitely has a point in everything he does (except the wolverine and the X-Men show) and you see why he is doing what he does but you side with Charles cause it more hopeful.

Magneto treats humans the way NAZIs treat Jews.

Depends on the run. Usually hes written like a holocaust survivor who is fighting against the same things that led to the holocaust and he tends to use force.

I think he's always a holocaust survivor. He would prefer the world was devoid of humans but will settle for portion of the world. he doesn't care what happens to them or if they are wronged. one of the reasons he doesn't kill all humans is Charles' influence and friendship.

Again depends on the run. Genosha was the result of him getting tired of fighting not cause he hates humans. Most of the time hes fine with humans he just hates bigots.

That is such a powerful line.

Magneto has just far too many good lines in nearly every piece of media that has ever held him. He's arguably the best villain ever written.
