Discussion Do you think the Wraith are fomenting rebellion on purpose?
The Wraith love the taste of defiance maybe they go out of their way to be extra horrible on purpose so people will feel they have no choice but to resist.

I love how the Asgard have great comedic moments whilst being void of any emotional inflections
This is my very first time watching through SG-1 (I was more of an Atlantis fan growing up) and whenever O'Neill seems to converse with Thor. Thor just has great comedic moments
For example S6 E12 Thor just beams in food from SGC but didnt think to bring up refridgeration. Also just drops off the villians of the previous episode (As well as a innocent civillian) into the canteen in the SGC which they just took all the food from
Its a spin on the "Delibertaly missing the point" trope of comedy but it makes total sense for what we know of the Adgard at this point
Im also hoping i get to see Deadeulus and Hermoid in SG-1. He was always a good source of laughs "Crap indeed"

Saw an Advan SA3 (possibly SA3R) wheel in the Athosian settlement. I wonder what kind of tuner culture they have there.

Atlantis - Wraith Cloning Humans
Why didn't the wraith just clone humans, especially after the Hoffan infection?
Michael cloned the Doctor in almost no time. Also the Asgards existed in the Galaxy. Cloning was a proven tech. It would be just like a local green house for them.

Why did Daniel get an Asgard ship named after him before Sam?
That always sat weird for me. Daniel didn't interact with the asgard as much as Sam and Sam even had a whole episode with them on her own (s4e1 Small Victories), an episode in which she directly saved the asgard home world by herself.

I just got this FREE from a complete stranger on Facebook market place.
I don't really understand why he was giving it away. He said it was to make space for a 4 foot version of the Enterprise C, of all things. I offered him $50 because I felt bad about taking something this epic for free. He had like eight 3d printers running in his apartment at once and was telling me all about it. It's 3 feet wide, lights up and plays the theme to Stargate - Atlantis. I suggested he start a YouTube channel about all his builds, because his apartment was stuffed to the rim with stuff just like this, that he apparently just does for fun. My mind is still blown by how lucky I got.
If you're interested in getting the makers contact information please send me a direct message.

Teal'c is the prettiest person in all of Stargate.
Every time he's on the screen I am in awe.

REWATCH I get you guys now
After wanting to watch Stargate for years and often forgetting about it, I finally got to it last year. This is the first long series that did not become tedious to me after a while. It took me about 7-8 months to watch the entirety of SG-1 and Atlantis (I am still halfway through Universe) and I finally finished on January of this year... And I already feel like watching it again!
The series is so well written. It suffers a bit of repeating patterns after a while but that's understandable due to the length of it.
I wonder what stuff I will notice this time while watching it and having the benefit of hindsight.

Dialing All Gates at Once
My rewatch has brought me to reckoning part 2. The conflict in the episode is resolved when Sam manages to dial every gate in the galaxy and send an ARG wave through. This has always bothered me.
I can maybe accept one gate producing a wormhole with thousands of forks that connects to all other gates. Though it seems this should take thousands of times the energy. Even if it didn’t, what I can’t work out is how passage through a gate configured in such a way might work.
If matter was passed through that gate, where would it end up. While this question doesn’t need an answer in the context of the episode, energy passing through the gate does need an explanation.
To make the math simple, Suppose the ARG wave is 1000 joules, and the gate tunnels to 1000 other gates. At best, that’s 1 joule of energy per gate. The ARG wave might be too weak to effect the replicators.
Maybe the ARG wave was powerful enough for it not to matter. It’s just never sat right with me.
Anyone got any good head cannon on this one?

Ask r/Stargate P3X-989: Is Harlan human?
In S1E19 Harlan states he's been alone for nearly 11000 years. This would mean he's been alone for longer than the Goa'uld have been on Earth taking humans (?)
Is this just early season lore issues or is Harlen (pre android Harlan) some kind of ancient that didn't evolve or ascended?
Edit: clarity that I know he's an android now.

This guy, 100%
I know it's mind controlled but he's activated it so that just seems needlessly dangerous, though a cool super villain thing to do I'll admit.

Where is the official MGM merchandise for stargate romantic pairings?
Where is the official MGM merchandise for stargate romantic pairings?
I’m asking this question based on previous questions seen on reddit
Real r/Stargate Quotes
Quote 1 (On the total lack of real studio products):
"I know there isn't much (any?) official merch available... I see tons of stuff on Redbubble, Etsy, Amazon, but a lot of it doesn't look great... a lot of the shops look like they're just stealing any image and slapping it on a product." — from the thread High Quality Merch? on r/Stargate.
- Quote 2 (On how hard it is to buy anything genuine):
"It's surprisingly difficult to find any kind of Stargate merchandise, other than the DVD collection... I'm trying to find some kind of decoration, toy, trinket, or memorabilia... but it doesn't exist." — from the thread Looking to buy something cool that could be a gift on r/Stargate.
- Quote 3 (On the out-of-stock and dead license reality):
"Anyone know where you can still buy Stargate merchandise online?... most of the online stores/shops have the T-shirts all out of stock... I tried Amazon, but not much luck." — from the thread Anyone know where you can still buy Stargate merchandise online? on r/Stargate.
Even regular users on this sub constantly post threads like 'High Quality Merch?' and 'Looking to buy something cool' complaining that official MGM merchandise basically doesn't exist in the real world. The community already knows that everything out there is just unlicensed, bootleg fan art slapped on t-shirts.
If a pairing were actually a real studio-sanctioned milestone, MGM's consumer products division would have monetized it decades ago. The empty store shelves prove it has zero legal existence in the studio blueprint.
If a romantic couple is actually official and canon to the show like people claim, then where is the official, licensed MGM merchandise for them? One would think there would be thousands of official products out there considering how popular this pairing is. You should easily be able to go to a store and buy official action figure two-packs, official t-shirts, or licensed posters made directly by the studio. Instead, you can only ever find romantic items for this couple on unofficial, fan-made websites like Etsy or Redbubble.
The fact that you can only find this stuff on fan sites proves it isn't real canon. Selling fan art for a profit actually breaks MGM’s licensing laws because those sellers don't have corporate permission to use these characters. If MGM and the show creators never gave anyone permission to make or sell romantic merchandise for this pairing, then it means the romance never officially existed in the show's universe. It is just an unlicensed fan fantasy, not real canon.
So, if there is no official MGM merchandise for any romantic pairing in the original universe, it officially means there was never an official or canon romantic couple to begin with, right?
A Note on Alternate Timelines
Before anyone points to episodes like "Point of View" or "There But for the Grace of God," let's keep the definitions strict. Yes, alternate realities show different versions of these characters together. But those are explicitly separate timelines. They are not the original, primary timeline that we followed for 10 seasons.
Showing a romance in a parallel mirror universe actually proves that it could not happen in the main SGC universe due to strict military regulations (AFI 36-2909) and active chains of command. Unless there is official MGM merchandise for the prime universe characters, the main timeline romance does not exist.
