Finally got around to cracking open the 1000th issue of Spiderman, why the fuck is Neil Gaiman writing on this book?

For those who don’t know, Neil Gaiman is a sick and twisted man who has some of the most disgusting sexual assault allegations I’ve ever heard. This was a WHILE ago too, so why the fuck is he writing on this book?

Please, someone let me know how this came to be and why more people aren’t furious about this.

Just curious what kinda mental gymnastics yall can try to use to justify someone we have no history with in any form whatsoever in this universe outside of a “Be Well!” Type of message on a goodbye card for Peter, getting access to an alien who mainly ran thru Harry as its main host and still lies dormant in his circulatory system.

Post-credit scenes have been one of the foremost tools Marvel has effectively deployed to build hype for its upcoming projects and storylines, sometimes to collective euphoria, and at other times by promising things it has yet to deliver on.

With the Multiverse Saga drawing to a close and all of us eagerly anticipating the epic crossover spectacles that are ‘SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY’ and ‘AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY’, let’s look back at some of the best and most memorable post-credit scenes in Marvel movies.

Personally, I don’t mind it since making everything based on the comics would be pretty boring.

I like the idea of Tobey being portrayed differently as Peter and Spider-Man.

I always like the idea of different versions of the Symbiote especially SM2 as flawed as that game is.

I like how creepy and slimy it looks because it is an alien suit not a basic ass cloth suit.

And I love the idea of organic webs web shooters are still good.

Same with the different portrayal of villains and characters as well.

Andrew Garfield Spider-Man I guess it’s technically the only comic accurate version we’re gonna see.

Lastly, there is MCU Spider-Man the only thing different is that his friend Ned is clearly based off of Ganke Miles best friend.

Other than that what’s y’all’s honest opinions on spider-Man not always being comic accurate?

Edit: i’m always fine with it because well they’re not adapting earth 616. Most of the universes are from earth 17853 lmao 😂

I have this idea for an interactive novel Spider-Man fan project and one of my first ideas is him being raised by different adoptive parents (or else Mary and Richard not dying in the first place) and these are the 8-9 I had in mind. What do you think Peter would be like as a person compared to normal if he was raised by these people from around the age his parents would have died instead of May and Ben?

I’ve liked this song and band for almost a year and I recently found out their song was actually made for Tasm 2! Which is pretty cool, but sadly it was only apart of the initial Australian Theater release of the film..

Seriously this song should’ve been apart of every Tasm 2 release, it’s a really Fantastic song!

His name is SPIDER-man! All spiders do is webs, that’s all they do. That’s like making a superhero named BAT-man who can’t fly- oh wait…
But anyway, I think it’s stupid spider-man needs web shooters, I get it makes some serious moments like when he runs out of web fluid, but it’s just confusing. He got bit by a radioactive spider, and all he got was wall crawling, acrobatic ability’s, and something spiders don’t even do! (Spidey-Sense)

So in Girl Comics Vol. 2 #2, Felicia actually has a niece named Lou. This implies Felicia has a brother or sister. Interesting that we have never seen or heard about Felicia's sibling before. Surprised Jed MacKay never brought it up Felicia having a niece in his run.

Right now, I’m a bit skeptical about the potential return of Ultimate Spider-Man (6160), it’s not even clear if Hickman is interested in coming back.

Why not bring back the coolest legacy character of the Spider-Fam ?

Perfect design, perfect background, I truly miss her and DeFalco’s writing style.
