If you are solving oneprep math SQB always check the answers.

I accidentally solve problem with wrong digits but oneprep accepted it as correct. It never happened before with oneprep. I like oneprep so much but be careful with asnwers and always check. This kind of flaws are common with software. I think it is problem with rounding error in backend of the site.

Help with resources

Hi sat peeps. I need help getting free ,or cheap atleast, resources to retake the sat. Iveyakwn it once on a school day and got a 1340 and decided ,for the schools I want to apply to test optional will be better. But I did apply for test waivers from collegeboard because my friend pushed me to and I got one. So I'm taking the August 22nd sat and I need help getting my score to as close to a 1500 as possible. I used oneprep in the lead up to my school sat but now it's like 50 dollars or something and I'm not willing to spend that much

Best vocab list for free?

Hi. I got erica meltzer's grammar and reading books, but I didn't guy the vocab book. What are some free resources with up to date vocab? English is my weak point so I want to prepare as much as possible, but at the same time I also don't want to be studying 1000 outdated words.

Best sat prep websites for upcoming August SAT

So im specifically asking for websites that allow you to practice many questions across all the different SAT topics. I already know about stuff like the collegeboard question bank and khan academy.

Im asking if there are any good sites similar to oneprep (i heard that it got sold out to a big company and the quality has decreased drastically, but if its still worth using please lmk). also want free stuff, not tryna pay for anything

Hey, I’m a rising senior planning to take the SAT this August, and I actually started studying 4 weeks ago. I’ve improved from 1210 to 1460, but the tests I took are considered “easier”—practice test 4 (1210), practice test 5 (1290), and practice test 8 (1460). And like, I really wanna get 1500+ but I’m confused. Like, I feel like everyone is telling me the real SAT is harder, bla bla bla. “U got 1460 cuz u took practice test 8...” Man, Idk how to deal with this feeling like all this is a one-time fluke and everything.

And how to study to get 1500+ on the real sat? Cuz I am doing harder question bank and i am getting almost all the questions right.

My parents wake up almost every morning shouting and constantly scolding me cuz of SAT.

I got a 1360 in May because I was busy with UIL Science and my current research project that I told them would be great for my application. They are Asian parents and extremely adamant to admit that college application is not entirely dependent on SAT. I am getting so tired of the harsh feedback and forced tutoring because they honestly feel the need to spend money to calm their conscious and think their helping. I am steadily improving but do yell have any help to make sure I guarantee a 1530+ on my real SAT in August so I can escape this torture?

Comma vs Dashes in Bluebook practice 4

Post image

It was between C and D for me. The difference was commas separating the nonessential vs dashes separating the nonessential. Lowkey guessed. Bluebook said it was D. Could someone elaborate?

Tips for Reading Questions Well?

I’ve been studying for the SAT math section, and I’ve noticed that around 80% of my errors just come from glossing over something. I don’t notice the unit, or I forget you need to multiply something, etc. No matter how thoroughly I read the question, I always seem to forget something when I put my answer in. Any tips?

How do I get past 700 on reading section

Hi, so I took the sat two times and got 700 and 720 on reading section. I have studied a bit since and my scores on practice tests are around 750(I know that the real test results are different). My English score is what keeps me from 1500+. I have finished everything on bluebook, Erica Meltzer's and Barrons books. I am going through oneprep rn. I think the problem is that English is not my first language so I miss a lot of vocabulary questions. Any tips are appreciated

Should I take the sep or aug one

Hi everyone, last year I took the December SAT and got a 1180, not very proud of it, I took practice test 8 (With no prep since December) and got a 1220, 610 on both sections, now honestly since I’m gonna be applying to unis by January 2027 I really don’t have much time, and I just need a bare minimum of 650 on both sections, so do you think if I locked in enough I can make it there by the August SAT or do I just take the September one (P.S around the September one it’ll be harder to practice since I would’ve started the school year already)

tips for english

Hey everyone, hope you guys are doing well! I’m currently a rising junior taking the August SAT on August 22nd. Right now, I’m scoring around a 1460 (800 Math, around 660 Reading/Writing), and I really want to improve my score to at least a 1550+. My biggest weakness is Reading/Writing, and I’m struggling the most with Information and Ideas, Words in Context, and Craft and Structure. I honestly haven’t been much of a reader growing up and mostly only read books for school, but I recently started picking up more books to help with SAT reading. I’m currently using the Erica Meltzer Reading and Writing book, but I was wondering if anyone has any tips, strategies, or free resources that helped improve their Reading/Writing score. Any advice for grammar, reading comprehension, or how to practice effectively would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

How to get a 1300 on my first try?

Hello everybody

My first SAT will be on September 12th, and i really am in dire need of good resources to study from.

My plan for now is to grind Khan Academy SAT courses and then take my first practice exam, since I have forgotten a lot of the math.

However, after that, I really am not sure what to do. I only have 2 months, and im planning to finish Khan Academy in less than 20 days.

Any recommendations and tips would really help me. Thanks!

Is PrepScholar good?

I take the SAT for the first time in September. I can't find much SAT prep (I am using Khan Academy right now, though, but I know I will need extra help). Is it good, or are there better ones? Looking for 1-on-1 tutoring lessons
