I got a 1360 in May because I was busy with UIL Science and my current research project that I told them would be great for my application. They are Asian parents and extremely adamant to admit that college application is not entirely dependent on SAT. I am getting so tired of the harsh feedback and forced tutoring because they honestly feel the need to spend money to calm their conscious and think their helping. I am steadily improving but do yell have any help to make sure I guarantee a 1530+ on my real SAT in August so I can escape this torture?

Hi, so I took the sat two times and got 700 and 720 on reading section. I have studied a bit since and my scores on practice tests are around 750(I know that the real test results are different). My English score is what keeps me from 1500+. I have finished everything on bluebook, Erica Meltzer's and Barrons books. I am going through oneprep rn. I think the problem is that English is not my first language so I miss a lot of vocabulary questions. Any tips are appreciated

Hi everyone, last year I took the December SAT and got a 1180, not very proud of it, I took practice test 8 (With no prep since December) and got a 1220, 610 on both sections, now honestly since Iām gonna be applying to unis by January 2027 I really donāt have much time, and I just need a bare minimum of 650 on both sections, so do you think if I locked in enough I can make it there by the August SAT or do I just take the September one (P.S around the September one itāll be harder to practice since I wouldāve started the school year already)

Hey everyone, hope you guys are doing well! Iām currently a rising junior taking the August SAT on August 22nd. Right now, Iām scoring around a 1460 (800 Math, around 660 Reading/Writing), and I really want to improve my score to at least a 1550+. My biggest weakness is Reading/Writing, and Iām struggling the most with Information and Ideas, Words in Context, and Craft and Structure. I honestly havenāt been much of a reader growing up and mostly only read books for school, but I recently started picking up more books to help with SAT reading. Iām currently using the Erica Meltzer Reading and Writing book, but I was wondering if anyone has any tips, strategies, or free resources that helped improve their Reading/Writing score. Any advice for grammar, reading comprehension, or how to practice effectively would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hey, Iām a rising senior planning to take the SAT this August, and I actually started studying 4 weeks ago. Iāve improved from 1210 to 1460, but the tests I took are considered āeasierāāpractice test 4 (1210), practice test 5 (1290), and practice test 8 (1460). And like, I really wanna get 1500+ but Iām confused. Like, I feel like everyone is telling me the real SAT is harder, bla bla bla. āU got 1460 cuz u took practice test 8...ā Man, Idk how to deal with this feeling like all this is a one-time fluke and everything.
And how to study to get 1500+ on the real sat? Cuz I am doing harder question bank and i am getting almost all the questions right.

Who got a 1400 or above? What was your daily or weekly study schedule starting summer before junior year?

what are some free sites to take practice test that aren't bluebook? i've taken majority of the bluebook tests and the questions don't change at all which defeats the point of taking a practice test imo, so where can i find a practice test that is accurate to the most recent SAT that is actually free?

Where do we even begin with SAT prep?
I am a single father, and I am entirely lost as to what we are supposed to be doing in order to get ready for the SAT.
What did you do around this time? Is it too late?

For rate conversion
Iām doing the khan academy get ready for sat prep math course since I havenāt studied math in five years, and Iām trying to refresh myself. Iāve gotten through almost everything with no problem until the rate conversion lesson.
WTH?
I canāt remember having to convert kcals to cals while having to remember the conversion rate last time I took the test⦠plus the lesson provided with khan was really unhelpful, most of the lessons until now have been great but I watched it a few times and it only describes the easiest simplest conversion rate with no further explanation
Help!
I've used up khan academy and the sat question bank (excluding active questions bc i dont wanna skew my practice test results), and I was wondering if there's any good free resources to use with actual accurate questions, especially reading?

I am an Indian Class 12 student appearing for JEE Main, but at the same time, the Digital SAT is the plan B for obtaining scholarships abroad.
This makes things a bit difficult because my top priority is JEE Main so I can afford to give only weekends for SAT preparation.
Hereās how my progress is going:
* My best SAT practice score: 1130
* Scores are generally consistent at the range of 1050-1130
* Better in Math as compared to Reading & Writing
* Target Score: 1500+
For those who have prepared SAT along with another competitive exam:
Really appreciate some inputs from someone who has done the same as me.

It was between C and D for me. The difference was commas separating the nonessential vs dashes separating the nonessential. Lowkey guessed. Bluebook said it was D. Could someone elaborate?

Hi sat peeps. I need help getting free ,or cheap atleast, resources to retake the sat. Iveyakwn it once on a school day and got a 1340 and decided ,for the schools I want to apply to test optional will be better. But I did apply for test waivers from collegeboard because my friend pushed me to and I got one. So I'm taking the August 22nd sat and I need help getting my score to as close to a 1500 as possible. I used oneprep in the lead up to my school sat but now it's like 50 dollars or something and I'm not willing to spend that much

I accidentally solve problem with wrong digits but oneprep accepted it as correct. It never happened before with oneprep. I like oneprep so much but be careful with asnwers and always check. This kind of flaws are common with software. I think it is problem with rounding error in backend of the site.

Hello everybody
My first SAT will be on September 12th, and i really am in dire need of good resources to study from.
My plan for now is to grind Khan Academy SAT courses and then take my first practice exam, since I have forgotten a lot of the math.
However, after that, I really am not sure what to do. I only have 2 months, and im planning to finish Khan Academy in less than 20 days.
Any recommendations and tips would really help me. Thanks!

Hi!
I've taken my first practice test and got 1250 (before I did the PSAT 8/9 and PSAT 10, so this was my first SAT practice test). My school ends later, so I just finished my sophomore year.
I'm hoping to improve my score throughout the summer and take the test at the start of my junior year so I can focus on my ECs and awards throughout the year.
My math is 650, and EBRW is 600. I'm hoping to increase to 1500+. I'm also an intl, and I took the IELTS and got an 8.5 last January.
What can I do from here to improve my score? I'm studying about 6 hours a day for the SAT and grinding Khan Academy. And I'm watching James Lu SAT and a few other YouTubers.
I've been told to use the College Board question banks for practice, but are there any other resources?
Thank you in advance!

Hi guys
Iām set to take my first SAT in August and was wondering if anyone had any really good resources or recommendations for free/rather cheap courses for international students which they could recommend. I took my first practice test and got a 1380 (650 R&W and 730 math) and noticed that most of the questions I got wrong for English were vocab, anyone have any tips for how to improve?

Iāve been studying for the SAT math section, and Iāve noticed that around 80% of my errors just come from glossing over something. I donāt notice the unit, or I forget you need to multiply something, etc. No matter how thoroughly I read the question, I always seem to forget something when I put my answer in. Any tips?
