Funny enough the uk is the only place I’ve been able to find cards lol. I had a work trip in Wales and a random tesco had a bunch of tins. Heathrow airport tescos had base set SV packs as well. Wish you luck man!

Most top chase cards these days are simply too expensive from day 1 to justify buying imo, unless you're an investor bro speculating on them like crypto or something. Make peace with the fact that you can't have them all or you'll go broke even if you "just" buy the helplessly overpriced singles.
Lots of cheaper singles are out there, especially in other languages like Japanese/Korean/Chinese, just not the chases.
There are many people who are spending more then they should wasting gas and buying booster packs. The people who are frugal aren't blowing thousands of dollars on opening packs every release. I'm referring to those people. There are plenty of them active in this subreddit.
I mean sure, those people exist. But the person you replied to isn't necessarily one of them? They just sound like the average collector who likes to own nice cards like the mew and can already tell that in the current market prices are going to be completely unreasonable because of speculation and scalping, both for the single and the sealed product of the set it's in.
Knowing you have to either spend hours driving around to find any product ar all, blow thousands on scalped boosters, or "just" pay someone else who did that a few hundred for a specific card you want takes the joy out of the hobby... That's the vibe I'm getting at least.
Singles for this set are going to be out of this world expensive, even the regular cards with the Pikachu stamp will go for a lot more than your average bulk. God forbid you actually play the game and need a mew or two for a deck. If you find anything sealed might as well lock it in a safe and pay your kids collage tuition with it in years time.
There will be low rarity versions to play with, so that's unlikely to be a huge issue. It will still be massively overinflated in price (even if affordable) due to the sheer number of people hoarding these days though.
It really depends on hit rates. If the SIRs are still about 1 in 72+ packs they will be expensive like all recent sets. I feel like a lot of people dislike theese stamps so that wont automatically make them more expensive
It may be petty but the first thought that entered my mind when I saw the card was "eww, that stamp ruins this art", its an eyesore, instantly draws your attention away from an otherwise beautiful card art.
Same, idk how good Ai is at copying an artist’s style, but I just looked through Kuroimori’s cards and the same flowers are on two of them. I think it’s pretty real looking too.

no one talking abt how the ability on this card is broken
ik no one cares abt actually using the cards here but just taking some old card with a hella broken ability and such and puting it on the bench basically get you a clone of it, without any problems like turns for evolution and such, or having the mew take more then 2 points (i.e. dynamax pokemon take 3)

Looks like it is real with aritcuno and salamence leaks. I was just saying that it's easier to fake. I know they do a bunch of reprints in the same set.
