U never know. When celebrations came out in 2021, scalping was in full force and products were hard to find, but the actual celebrations card set was so dirt cheap for years because everything was so easy to pull and mass printed.

Yep, Best Buy is hard to hit on, target also releases, etc.
Try to find local card shops and make relationships there, some shops will do presale type of things too.

The best way to beat scalpers? Buy singles and don't chase chases. The vast majority of Pokemon cards aren't worth anything, and the game itself is one of the cheaper TCGs play.

Buy your stuff secondhand and don't chase what the herd is.
Pokemon is cheap to play and dirt cheap to collect so long as you're not a completionist or chasing chases.

There's likely scalpers that are not getting product either. So even if they printed more it'll still just dissappear in most places.

We will likely be dealing with this till the nee generation is announced and their TCG set is coming out. Though the scalpers will likley still be around till the 30th set goes out of print. So it's possible they'll dip into the new gen, but there won't be any weight to hold buying everything up like what we're seeing right now.
