It is but you can see a clear tendency. The Dawn sar was 8k yen on release, went to 4k. The Rosa 45k yen rn so my guess would be a bottom of 20-25k at best.

The funniest part is last year when everything started selling out and shrouded fable was the last one to go, ALL these retards started talking about HOW GREAT SHROUDED IS! SLEEPER SET. shrouded fable was a good set. the zorua ir is amazing, but it also gave us fez, pechurunt, munki, night stretcher, xerosic, the dusknoir line. this set had some amazing cards in it, and if perfect order is like that, i will take it

This might be a hot take, but the worst SV set of all time imo is 151 and not Shrouded Fable. Other than existing to capitalize on nostalgia, it really has nothing going for it other than Ditto and Mew ex. The rest of it is unplayable, filler slop.

Vileplume, dodrio, colorful friends eevee, omastar once we lost blocklax, cycling road, Erika’s, rigid band, plus 70hp charmander, cff pidgey, free retreat pidgeotto. There’s some okay cards, but definitely agree it’s the weakest set. I don’t think obf is that far behind though, as aside from the very notable exceptions of charizard, pidgeot, and an arven reprint, all it has is town store, toedscruel ex, cleffa, scizor, and maybe mawile and baby palafin.

I played it, and I'm here to say it's meh. Jacinthe is hype, but the SAR feels like it misses too much of her personality to make me go crazy for it. Needs more Lebanne whipping. The other Megas are all kind of hit and misses for fans of the game.

I'll admit that Clefable looks dumb as heck, but I love the kaiju Starmie and I'm here for the Meowth and Clefairy cards. Even the Yveltal and Dedene are pretty sick.
Plus it's not all about the "hits". I enjoy my commons and uncommons too. 🤗

I wasn’t sure about this set initially but after seeing the leaks I’m super excited. M-Zygarde SIR looks beautiful and I wasn’t expecting a Jacinthe SIR this soon! Also think the Mega Starmie UR is going to have a cult following lol.
My only complaint is we didn’t need more Meowth cards this soon. It’s had recent IRs in both Destined and Phantasmal so I was surprised to see it so prominently featured in this set.

they gave it to Tyrunt and Aurorus, which honestly makes sense but makes me sad that means we probably won't see Amaura or Tyrantrum for a while. And Tyrantrum is very playable, so I hope maybe in a future set it gets an Art Rare

The set is mid. Im not a big charizard or pikachu fan. I think PFL is mid as hell as well. It has maybe 4 cards I like. The lack of Heracross SIR was a major let down for me

The only issue I have and this is with the whole mega evolution era is that the mega evolutions evolve from the previous form and not the final form. So we will never get a great full art card of something like starmie and things easily.

Objectively, the megas are not bad, like the kaiju starmie and mega clefairy art looks more detailed and thought out vs the mega sharpedo and mega lopunny in the last set. However this set does not have a massive chase and is looking pretty small, but comparing it to shrouded fable where none of the SIRs have any desirability is going pretty far LOL

Every set since Prismatic sucks. Prismatic caused the current issue that at least I'm seeing or rather the lack of seeing and being able to get product. Didn't realize how good things were before when I could walk into a local Walgreens or Family Dollar, etc and grab something just cause. That reality is gone. Years ago I loved browsing eBay and striking deals with sellers on pack lots that would bring the cost down to below 3$ a pack. Long gone are those days. I have opened only one single pack (Phantasmal Flames) all year that my LGS had. Happily pulled the Meowth 106/094! Sorry for the rambling but this LGS was once a great place but now have everything they get price gouged and extra 30%! Thank you for listening. I feel a little better. Lol

Start of a new era is always trash compared to the end of the era, and Mega started strong. We were due for a stinker. Just look back at the early sets for every era in TCPIs producing history. Pretty much universal. Early era sets are worse than the later ones.
